im looking wireless camera atm, and im going to go with reolink
cost might be a little more but imo better cameras
and im going to go with reolink
I'm thinking the same, unless there's anything better out there…
Need to have 24/7 continuous recording though… None of this 'sensor activated recording' rubbish…
yea the model i linked has that, need to buy SD card/NVR
reason im looking at this one is
5mp (2k reso)
colour night vision
wireless 5ghz
always recording option
powered, so no need to chargeNone of this 'sensor activated recording' rubbish…
Rubbish because of their delay to start recording?
@Godric: i would say so, usually you will miss the first few sec
Rubbish because of their delay to start recording?
yes
It might be good to reduce storage and save power, but it defeats the purpose of security monitoring…
@jv: The Battery cameras like EUFY and Arlo do have a small delay in the start of recording, this is because of the battery saving.
JV - yes we think so. Long range using 2 antenna on each camera.
Each camera can take a Micro SDCARD for recording on the camera.
App works really well.Sorry cheaper here $598 http://nmc.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&product_id…
No need to apologise for find cheaper…
This is OzBargain after all…
Using the code ozbargain1 will take it from $698 to $498
Then you should update the title to reflect that.
Done
better than eufy?
different, eufy all battery powered, pretty sure these needs a power source
Yeah you right
"Power supply and 18mtr cable for each camera"

I am currently using this (could be
the previous gen) and they are not bad. But would definitely prefer something with POE.Absolutely agree with the PoE comment. You’ll want your cameras powered, and unless you’re lucky enough to have power points where ever you want your cameras, you’ll be paying big bucks for an electrician. PoE though, anyone can run and terminate some CAT6 cable. All with the added benefit of rock solid wired network connectivity.
There are restrictions around cat6 cabling.

and cat 5 cabling…
Oh right. My sincere apologies, had no idea.
Can highly recommend Unifi Protect. I have a bunch of the cheaper G3 Flex and they are great. The app is absolutely fantastic too. Will probably want to pair them with a Dream Machine Pro too though.
Also just received the G4 Doorbell but haven’t installed it yet.
Mine all turned yellow within a year
Is it any good though?
