[Afterpay] PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller $79.20 (RRP $109) + Delivery (Free for eBay Plus) @ Big W eBay

950
PAPDY20

I believe this has been the lowest it has been other than for the lucky people who ordered a PS5 from TGG and received $100 credit and used it towards a DualSense controller.

Showing as $7.90 delivery to Sydney when I check the delivery cost without logging into my eBay account with eBay Plus or can select pick up in store for free.

Code works when paying the order in full with eBay Gift Cards and selecting Afterpay as the payment option.

Use discounted eBay gift cards for further savings.

  • How do I choose the pickup option? Doesn't seem to be an option for me.

    • +4

Sorry, it appears pick up is not an option. I apologise for the error and have amended the post as such.

    Why would I buy this I don’t have a ps5

    • +7

      Buy now think later

      • +1

        Buy now debt later

        • Buy now and regret later when different colours of controllers will be out in the market

They sync up pretty seamlessly with the 8bitdo bluetooth adapter, using one as my Switch main at the moment.
Might grab a third controller from this deal myself to use on PC also..

      • How do you find it on Switch? Especially compared to the classic controller if you use one.

        • The biggest piece of warning is that doesn't have motion support, which is either a curse or a blessing.

Personally I hate the forced gyro in some games so this works for me, unfortunately it means that in some instances where it is required (like, 5% of Super Mario 3D World's levels when they randomly pop up..-_-) I need to go back to my old controller.

My previous pad was an 8bitdopro+ so I can't comment on how it compares to the official pro.
Honestly i just like the more hefty weight of these, and since I'm using the dualsense more or less daily on the PS5 nowdays anyway I found it a little jarring to go back to the much lighter switch controller back and forth, so this is a win-win of familiarity between systems too.

I'd say if you're happy with the Pro Controller or other thirdparty currently then there's no real reason to change now that I think about it. Just preference.

    • Works with PC I would assume, also if you plan on getting a PS5 down the road and will require a second controller.

      • It is a little tricky to get set up on PC if you want to have any rumble and a wide range of compatibility (need to use a program called PS4Windows), but it's worth the effort. Dual Sense has become my preferred controller out of it, Xbox One, and Switch Pro. Played for a lot of hours without fatigue, and it just feels.. good

    • use it with your windows PC.

    • I got 2 already and I don’t have ps5..

  • +4

Oh man, by the time I get my hands on a PS5 I’ll have like 20 controllers!

    • lol

  • +2

    Is Amazon matching this please?

  • Ugh, I'd love to buy this, but I don't want to muck around with AfterPay. =0(

    • +1

there's nothing difficult about afterpay though. once you've signed up.

    • +2

You don't have to. Buy an eBay gift card for the value of the controller from someone who offers it, and on the payment screen select Afterpay, put the afterpay code in, and then pay for it in GC.

      • Ahhh, nice! Thanks for the tip. =0)

  • Wish they could offer pick up

  • Damn, i dont want afterpay on my credit statement, but good deal

    • why?

      • Wondering the same thing. I thought it only lowers your credit score if you either use AfterPay for everything, or have late payments.

Mhmm I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this one but my PS4 controllers do the job just fine for now..

  • Thanks hoping such deals in future which is NOT afterpay!

    • +4

You dont have to use afterpay to get 20% off. I bought EBay Gift cards, added the controller to cart, select AfterPay as payment, apply the PAPDY20 code to the redeem voucher/coupon box for the 20% off then add the Ebay GC to pay the full amount ($80). No need whatsover to transact through afterpay.

      • Thanks mate, that was super helpful!

      • Legend, thanks heaps for this

  • +1

    should i pre-buy this before i got my ps5..lol!

    • I bought a charging dock before geting a PS5. Also a raft of 4K movies from JB over the 6 months before PS5 launch.

anyone used this on a pc?

Repost of my reply to a comment further up:

      • i see, not sure if its worth replacing my ds4 controller yet

        thanks for the reply

    • Yeah I used it on PC with Steam Big Picture

  • Good deal, I got this for $85 from TGG commercial 2 weeks ago.

    • Only few people have access to it

      • Took a screenshot to JB they matched no questions.

        • attempted to price match at TGG store & they refused to match TGGCommerical site :(

  • Thanks for this, great price!

Why so hard……? After pay, ebay plus, blah blah blah. It reminds me of the day when we had to enter sophisticated cheat codes into the SEGA.

    • +2

It's a marketing campaign for afterpay so they want you to use it. They're probably footing the bill for the sale or some other quid pro quo.

  • How do you use discounted ebay cards for further discounts ?? Do you not have to choose after pay as the payment and then apply the code ? Can use discounted gift cards in the field too ?

    • +1

You select AfterPay as payment method to get the discount first. Then keep on adding your gift cards. But you still have to pay at least $1 through AfterPay.

      • Thanks, checked looks like the gift card cashback is 1.5% now but good to know in general

        • +1

I bought some Swap Celebration gift cards from Shopback. 5% cashback.

          • +1

@DealHunterBD: Awesome, I tried buying something and afterpay said sorry need to pay off one of the other two purchases… So used this trick and worked like treat

  • It's now almost cheaper to get a PS5 controller than an Xbox one controller! It's been how many years now? And XB1 controllers haven't dropped at all…

  • +2

do they have a wireless adapter for windows use? Can it connect to the DS4's wireless adapter?

  • Got JB to price match it, if anyone wants to price match here is the receipt: https://ibb.co/Mnhn2QT

    Good luck!
