Yeah, but apart from 1 of those, they're all DSE. What I meant was there are a lot of these Apple/Mac sales going on, but but not that many are posted on OzBargain (besides the DSE ones really). For instance Myer and David Jones often have Apple Computer sales, but they aren't always posted here.
I have a jb guy I go to for whenever I want to buy apple products @10% off and more on apple care.
I rarely see any decent sales at myer. The apple clearance @ myer are pretty much old discontinued over priced stock
true that but you never know, you might be able to stack it up with another deal that comes out soon.
Good to know then not.
For anyone after an iTunes card right now, here are the current sales:
Caltex – 20% off ends 10th of January
Coles - 20% off ends 10th January
Coles Express – 2 x $20 for $30 (25% off) ends 11th of January
I called my local store who said I had to pay the ticket price for this promo to be valid. Anyone else have a similar experience?
The way the dick smith system works is that if an item is marked down any bonus items are automatically removed. You could still negotiate on any accessories most likely, but they won't be able to touch the actual laptop.
better waiting for a 10%/$100 sale. then buy itunes cards at 20% disc, or save the money. unless this promo overlaps another deal… but i doubt that :(
Obviously not as good as 10% off or whatever but still worth posting as people may be buying Apple Macs anyway, something free is better than nothing. Plus iTunes credit would be relatively easy to sell or simply use.
Not a deal.
(Apple's "standard 10% off" isn't much better,
but you can decide what to do with the $$ saved.)
A little better than 10% off if you buy the base mac mini for $699 :)
I don't really think this should be considered a bargain because numerous stores always have $100 off Mac promo's and 10% off Apple computers and they're rarely ever listed on OzBargain. I'm pretty sure people would prefer $100+ cash in hand rather than $100 in iTunes cards (especially considering there are always sales on the iTunes cards).
