why expired???
OP you should mention that this is only for these shops (NSW, QLD and VIC?).
This offer is only open to customers who make a qualifying transaction of $250 or more from 22/12/2011 to 31/12/2011 (‘Offer Period’) on purchases at IKEA Richmond, IKEA Springvale (Victoria), IKEA Homebush Bay Drive, IKEA Tempe (New South Wales) or IKEA Logan (Queensland).
Actually the crowd depends on the time of day. It was quite alright up to about 5:30 pm at Rhodes. I suspect sales results were underwhelming for Ikea this year, like many other retailers.
i went yesterday at 5pm, it was rather quiet. Springvale. Parked closest to the door, 1min queue eating, and straight to a register on the way out
Ikea rips australians off.
Does it?
i think i just got served! checked a few products! still cheap compared to what else is available in Aust.
Bandits!!!
which could be said about almost all products which are imported…
you could always move to the US if the price of IKEA products is bringing you down :)i say we boycott IKEA
Lousy deal anyway, even ignoring the 100% markup for Aussies. If Kogan offered a deal like this you would bore into him in droves.
Btw Ikea homebush has been really quiet since Tempe opened, and yes they do rip aussies off http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1613531
IKEA YA CAR. LUV IT.
Rip off is harsh, it is big items and we are further away. Between shipping and politics, we end up forking out more. Just buy the bargain stuff.
Made in south east asia, cheaper to ship to AU then to USA.
Even on a normal day, IKEA is a nightmare of mothers, prams and sticky children. Going between 22-31 Dec to spend $250 so you can go back again on another day and save $25? You're a braver man than I.
