Most people probably went nuts with that Harvey Buy one get one free deal couple months ago so this might not seem as sweet.

For some reason I can't seem to see the offer in the link…
OMFG the Canon 115HS was $149 YESTERDAY ! WTF $174 now ???
The silver one is still $149
Ahh rgr.., but most prices haven't changed except the Canon SX130IS become a bit cheaper…
EDIT: In fact I've seen some of these cheaper at HN & Bing Lee
Wowee! 10% off ..hold me back back, i'm having heart palpitations! (sarcasm;)
10% on cameras isnt much at all. you probably can get a better discount if you hassle the sales person
You might also get a discount if you haggle with the salesperson too.
Looking at the Sony DSC-HX9V, it was $404 online on Monday and Tuesday, it.s still $404. Where's the 10% discount on that?
I'd like to see the ACCC take a stand against these retailers and there supposed "markdown" sales. It would need us OzBs to provide evidence, but that wouldn't be too hard, especially with the friends and family sales and the like, many of us already go in beforehand and take photos of prices. We just need to email the details to the ACCC, if enough of us do it, they'll actually launch an investigation. The HX9V is $399 at Myers, so nothing special from JB here (though there usual "Famous low ticket price" was $449 (the RRP), so 10% off is $404.10).
The cheapest OZ stock I have found was http://www.videopro.com.au/p-3166-sony-cybershot-dschx9v-dig… for $337, but they are now out of stock (Same with the other cheaper stores Penta, Itsdirect etc).
If you do want this camera buy it now as no more are being produced due to the flooding of the factory in Thailand. Sony Australia will not get any more stock of this model, only the new model due March/April.
what about the other 90% of the camera ??? :O
