  • Would this be something I can buy test and return?

  • +1

This printer is very easy to start with if not experienced with 3d printing. It uses nonstandard filament spool sizes though, but it's possible to use an external filament spool holder with some tweaks.

  • This or Prusa i3 MK3s? I currently have an ender 3 and wanting to upgrade

    • imo (i'm biased), the sapphire plus is worth considering.

it's got a much bigger volume (equivalent to CR10), and much more precise (linear rails in all direction and COREXY movement system).

it's more expensive than this, but you get so much more bang for your buck.

      • I wish prusa did large form factors.

        • they are! soon! coming up with something quite exciting. the price range is probably going to be similarly large though

          • @xrailgun: Im thinking of selling my three cocoon creates and just having large one for everything. Worth it to me I think, depending on price of course. Probably $1500 odd

    • Those two printers are not in the same league when it comes to price or performance or even print area.

If you have the money get the prusa.

  • hope they got this wrong: Voltage 110 Volts
Most power supplies are 100-240, presumably just an amazon fail when copying from the US site

  • Beware! Extremely small printing size: 15x15x15cm
