For anyone in the Sydney CBD, the HJ below Circular Quay station is a franchise.

    • Does it matter if it's a franchise? pretty sure my local one is and they still accept the coupon.

    • They are shit as always so never mind them.

  • works at coffs harbour - went through drive thru, didnt even blink and eye at the voucher

  • Why is it that everytime I go to HJ, they seem to change their stories?
Went there today and they told me you had to purchase something in order to receive this discount, basically not honouring it. Sick of their excuses.

    • Which store was that?

On the HJs facebook page someone asked:
"is it a $2 wopper straight up or do you need to buy something to get the $2 wopper?"

      and HJs responded:
Hungry Jack's: Nope! All you need is the voucher.

      • HJ King Way in Melb just accept the $2 voucher for burger only.
The Brighton (Vic) store on Nepean Hwy will not honour it unless you pay for something else. The said that was the word from their district Manager.

        • Yeah right. Sounds like they make up the rules as they go a bit

  • Nommed on one today from Macquarie (NSW) with no redeeming issues at all.

Negging this because the veggie burger contains beef.

who the f%#k has a veggie that is not vegetarian??!!

    well, Hungry Jacks does.

edit- bummer, can't remove the previous pos vote to neg.

Very good point - Nandos veggie burger is better anyway, and vegan if you do without mayo (contains egg) but they are far from 2 bucks lol :)

After learning that HJs veggie whopper is anything but (after enjoying2 of them), I won't be having any more.
They have a disclaimer on their menus if you look closely *contains rennet I didnt know wtf that was until I researched it. How bloody hard would it be to just use vegetable rennet ffs.

And even if you ask without cheese, the veggie pattie contains cheese that is made with animal rennet… pretty stupid IMO

I eat meat like it's being discontinued and think it's super dodgy that the veggie patty isn't vegetarian. I've told all my vego friends to look out, but as for me, I still love my whoppers :P

Had one at HJ Chadstone outlet, they wouldn't honour it without a purchase, so bought an onion rings. I haven't had a whopper in ages and was pleasantly surprised, the burger was huge and I was quite full by the end of it! Definitely a bargain at $2 :)

I went to the HJ opposite to Target Adelaide. They gave me an ultimate whopper for $2!

    Double beef, cheese, bacon

  • I tried coupon at Circular Quay HJ and they refused it to honor. I was told by the guy that, thats a not a participating store.

i can confirm in sydney : HJ hoyts - 505 george st, hj century - 640 george st and hj pitt st - 252 pitt st accepted 10 of my vouchers so far, not included some of my work colleague that I gave them these vouchers as well

  • I can confirm it is accepted at moorabbin on nepean hwy.

  • Works at HJ Melbourne Central too, gave the voucher and the girl gladly accepted it without needing a purchase :)

  • rejected @ CQ. "sorry we don't accept those vouchers"

  • Accepted at Parkmore, Keysborough, VIC.

Has anyone made a page of them? Printing one per page is a waste.

    • i print mine 8 to a page. most printers will let you do that. it's under the "layout" or "finishing" tab in printer properties

    • Is it that hard to SS, crop, copy and paste 8+ times on a word document?

      • I don't have word. I still could have made it myself but I knew someone would have done it already.
