  I've seen these when browsing through sales, and was just wondering what you would use these for specifically.

  It says they are appropriate for light exercises (speed bags or grappling) where there isn't much resistance .. then do you still need the wrist support? I presume from the description they wouldn't hold up to a double ended bag or mitt work?

  Can anyone with experience enlighten me?

    You can use these instead of hand wraps for boxing (before putting on gloves) . It does support the wrist and provides some more cushioning around hand. You can also use them for "light" bag work only. I use similar ones instead of wraps for kickboxing. Works well.

      thanks for the response. So it sounds like they can basically substitute for hand wraps, and the padded gel bit won't get torn apart easily when used under boxing gloves?

        Yes. However, this is one size fits all so if you have big hands it might be too tight.
