Thanks OP- picked up Vader Immortal 3 pack

    • +1

Likewise, though I had Ep 1 already. This pushed me over the line to complete the trilogy.

      • Isn’t the bundle price to complete the trilogy the same as buying them individually.

        • +1

They're AUD$14.99 individually. I had Ep 1 already and the bundle was AUD$20.97 for me.

          • +2

@Misterbumpy: Good to know that they actually deduct the price of the items you own from the bundle.

  • Anyone else having an issue seeing the deals?

Link keeps 404ing on my main computer. Loads up fine on my phone and laptop but not my PC.

If I go direct to one of the bundles, it shows the games but no pricing or other information.

    • Hmmm, thanks for letting me know. I'll try updating the link.

    • Did you get it working, I'm still having problems

      • Contacted support. Feels like something wrong with their backend since it's only when I'm logged in - will let you know.

  • +1

Check the Canada/rift store first. Massive savings to be had on top of the sale prices

    • Can’t they brick you for that?

    • +2

Can you play rift games on Quest? Virtual Desktop?

      • +1

        Yes and oculus link.
        Both work fine for me

        • Hmm, if i look at Superhot VR on the CA Rift store it says "Supports Rift, Supports Rift S, Supports Oculus Touch"

while the Superhot VR on the Quest page says "Supports Quest, Supports Oculus Touch"

Are you saying they are the same version despite that?

          • @Arsenal: It might not be cross sell?

            • +1

              @[Deactivated]: Superhot is not crossbuy

              • @Thiefsie: Figures.. I bought it on steam already.. if I’m being honest I’m not smitten with it like everyone else is.. I just find it too slow. Robo recall and space pirate trainer are way up there on my list

                • +1

@[Deactivated]: Isn't that the point of the game?

                  • @Misterbumpy: Possibly.. it just didn’t excite me personally, maybe it’s just taste, I found it dull.
Rez infinite was far more exciting

                • @[Deactivated]: Nah I feel ya, I have only played the non VR version but I found it incredibly frustrating and not that fun to play due to how unbelievably slow your bullets fire in relation to enemies’ movement speed.

Awesome idea but poorly realized in my opinion.

Thanks! Was hoping for this to come

Cannot upvote enough, just snagged a bunch of titles I wanted. Thanks OP!

    • Appreciate the kudos from your comment :)

  • How do you buy from Canada oculus if you have Aus oculus account ?

    • Vpn on pc
      Source : i just bought.

      • Also VPN on phone works

        • couldnt get it to load properly on phone but there u go. YMMV i guess.
          im using PIA fyi.

  • If I have super hot vr on steam (from when I had mixed reality). Will I be able to use it on the quest 2 when it arrives? (First time quest user here)

I guess that assumes I have either oculus link (for wired play) or virtual desktop (for wireless play) ?

    • if u got it on steam u can use link or virtual desktop. if ur like me though, native is king.

      • What's the deal with buying virtual desktop? I notice it is on Steam for less than on this sale, but i dont know how you need to license it for Quest (haven't used a Quest yet but getting one for the family for xmas).

    • Yeah you need Virtual Desktop to stream wirelessly, and that requires a decent router, ideally in an uncluttered area. I got a Huawei one for $70 that does a good job.

But, native is much less fuss.

    • Your assumptions are correct

  • my top picks

    in death
    top golf
    11 table tennis

  • Knowing how rare quest game sales are, I bought…
    superhot
    The climb
    Thrill of the fight
    Creed
    Arizona Sunshine
    Red matter

All from the Canada store :-)

    • Are they significantly cheaper and how do you buy from that region?

      • Download a free VPN app
        Select Canada

Start the Oculus app and select the rift store.

        They are significantly cheaper!!

Make sure you buy only the crossbuy ones for Quest.

        Then disconnect the VPN.

Go back into the store. Select oculus store and search for the game you bought in the store. It will come up as free to download. Click on that and it will add the game to your library.

Basically I didn't do anything other than use a free VPN.

        • Do you pay with CAD or AUD?

  • +2

Awesome thx OP. Also had a $14 voucher so bought Vader trilogy for the price of one game!!

  • Does anyone know whether the Vader Immortal pack is playable on PC? Or is the pack Quest only?

I'm a big Star Wars fan, but I don't have a quest and was planning on buying to play with Revive.

    • +1

It’s Cross Buy. Appeared in my Oculus PC app.

      • That's great news. Thanks @Misterbumpy

      • Ah shit. It doesn't appear to work (I assume I should see them under Library in the Oculus PC app?), @misterbumby do you have the Quest as well? Or do you have a facebook account, I signed up and logged in with an Oculus account, perhaps that is the issue?

Unless it takes some time after purchase to show up I might have to start chasing a refund.

  • Excellent, thanks

  • Link isn't working anymore?

  • The must have pack is

$99 in the Canadian store. Same in AUD.

    • Canadian store price is correct. In AU Store, its $139.99

      • +1

Sorry I meant it will be similar in AUD if you buy it. Perhaps 10% difference in AUD and CAD. So the same in AUD in the Canadian store.

$103 AUD if you buy in the Canadian store.

    • Any risk of oculus banning people doing this? Presume just need VPN to buy. And appears in your library and can play without vpn

  • I think some people don't get access to any of the bundles (myself included). I'm not sure if it's older Oculus accounts or something?

If I go to the link when logged in, I get "WHOOPS! It looks like you're lost. Let's get you back home.". However accessing it from an Incognito window works fine.

  • is there a website to track the prices of the oculus store; just like isthereanydeal?

  • While prices are quoted in AUD, is it considered a foreign transaction? There for charged fx fee?

    • I would say it’s likely.

  • Picked up:
    - Vader pack
    - Superhot
    - The Climb
    - Beat Sabre + imagine dragons
    - Arizona Sunshine
    - Eleven Tables Tennis
    - Racket Fury (will return one of the table tennis games)
    - Virtual Desktop
    - Thrill of the fight

    $218.44 mostly from CA store.

    • +1

Were you charged a fx conversion fee on your card?

      • Hasn’t come up on my statement yet (cba)
But still pending so may add a present or two in the wash up

  • +1

Thanks finally grabbed the Vader Immortal 2 & 3. It didn't immediately show up in my Rift library, but when I found them in the store they were 'free'.

  • +1

just placed order for quest 2 yesterday,
bought premium pack + must have pack + virtual desktop + table tennis + beat saber, all bought from Canadian store.

It seems bundles aren't eligible to 14 days refund policy. hopefuly the games inside are good for a first time VR owner.

    • +1

Then for some reason paypal decides to do currency conversion on its own, which costs a lot extra..
Also I found no way to use card's own currency it seems..

  • Oh man I only just saw this. I would have go the premium pack for sure.

  • When I go to the to the Vader bundle I can’t buy it. How do I buy the bundle.

    • For some people they had to open an incognito window. Probably too late now.

      • I tried all that and did not come up and I thnk it over now
