        Ozbargain has been going downhill the last few years and the mods don't seem to care. First shows being added to subscription services, then shows being added to FREE to air Tv, then games becoming F2P and now all these joke posts of games that were always F2P that aren't always getting removed…

        I used to recommend the site to people but now it's just embarrassing as you need to set up filters/block people to get a usable site.

          The number of times I've reported obvious scams / fakes, with the scam/fakery detailed in the comments, only for mods to reply "lol nobody gives a shit use the downvote button".

          But the post has been upvoted 50+ times, and you are rate limited, sometimes for days, on how often you can downvote comments and posts. So the bots and scammers can upvote things an unlimited number of times, but organic users literally can't fight the rate increase.

          It's obvious the people here are fairly…..complicit.

    This deal post isn't really needed.
    Albion has been free to play for 5+ years now.

    The only reason that the guild wars 2 one makes sense is because it was posted the same day Guild wars 2 went f2p for the base game.

        I don't really do any shopping outside of stuff I find on Ozbargain so I don't really find anything I feel worthy of a bargain, just "good prices". That said, the definition of bargain doesn't seem to matter anymore and tonnes of advertising posts don't even get removed so maybe I shouldn't be so reserved but as an older member I can remember what Ozbargain used to be like where it would be full of absolute bargains that I can't seem to change.

    This deal post aside, there are so many absolute turd of games that keep getting posted on OzBargain, by a certain individual. Shovelware games. It's so annoying setting up notifications for free Steam games and being pinged by this person's posts.

    And everyone of them is upvoted heaps. Sometimes no comments at all, people just blindly upvoting crap games. It makes no sense.

    it's not only been free for ages, but it's actually kinda Pay2Win which makes it even worse… before someone says "you can't get everything by playing for free" - not you can't (you need active premium to purchase an island).

    This is not a bargain or deal. It's just advertising a game that is f2p from day one.

    A new show coming to a paid service isn't a bargain.

    A free movie on free to air TV isn't a bargain or a deal.

    Can we please stop posting 'deals' that aren't deals and just 'business as usual'?

    There are thousands of free to play games on steam. Allowing these posts just waters down ozbargain's actual deals. How about we just start posting every single free game on steam now…?
