The one you linked - it’s an nVidia, 6GB RAM, lower power consumption, 3 DP and 1 HDMI, I think faster clocks.
This - an AMD, 8GB RAM, 2 HDMI 2 DP 1 DVI, cheaper.
Thanks for the reply. $50 difference..hmmm. Was gonna cancel my order on the 1660 if this was better value but I think I might just keep it.
He left out the part where the 1660 Super is a solid 30% faster lol. Much newer and better GPU.
Listing brand is pointless you get the item for what the card can do and not who made it…
As an aside why does nVidia hate having more ports on their cards?
An rx 580 for anything close to a 1650 super is a bad deal. They just chew up too much power to be a consideration anymore.
How does the 580 go with VR? I got a bunch of them from crypto mining days but never really considered them for gaming, always assumed they were underpowered especially for VR
I’d say it’s reasonable. Beat Saber without problems, Rec Room, Budget Cuts etc are fine. It’s probably the lowest you can go. My 570 in other comp can’t handle it.
You’d also want to be sure they’re 8GB and not 4(if they exist).Why don't you mine now?
The MSI version is $10 cheaper at Shopping Express. Not sure what the difference in shipping is.
