    RT-AX86U has a much faster CPU, more RAM, MU-MIMO and Wi-Fi 6.

  Well, with this price why not take an AX88U from binglee. I know it has 2.5G port but overall AX88U is still a better router with a lower price

    Reviews on dongknows seems to prefer the AX86U.

    Interested in your view on why the AX88U is the better router? Say I don't need the 8 ports.

    The USG is getting a bit long in the tooth. RT-AX86U has Wi-Fi 6 built in, is a faster router than the USG and you use the RT-AX86U on it's own hooked up to the nbn box. For an Ubiquiti setup get the UDM or UDM Pro paired with Unifi APs.
