Better off getting it there, then. I've only dealt with Sydney Tools twice, but both times they were a nightmare. Everything I ordered said 'in stock' on their website, but after I paid, suddenly they weren't in stock and I had to wait 1-2 weeks before dispatch. Very slow.

  • Is it valid on any of the other 2 piece kits? Been eyeing off the kit with the impact wrench in it for a while now. M18FPP2C2502C

    • Putting the $659 price tag anywhere in the post will save people a lot of clicking …

  • what do we think we could strip the batteries and then resell the skins for?

  • Not sure why this hasn't been added but here's the promotion page which includes participating stores.

  • I just purchased the kit at Total tools Brendale. You have to be instore to register your purchase on the promotion page and upload the reciept, then show the staff to redeem your free saw.
The staff were less than helpful, almost like they were reluctant to give the saw away.

    • I spoke to Total Tools staff and it seems that although perfectly good the circular saw isn't particularly useful unless you're a carpenter or other tradie that needs it. Shame it can't be substituted for an angle grinder or other Milwaukee tools.

Sounds like it's the DIY equivalent of the free Beats headphones with Apple Mac offer. Might see a load of circular saws for sale on eBay in the next few weeks :p
