Seems like a good price I bought mine for $1600 back in March with only a 8th Gen i5 and 256gb SSD. These are very well built, very light weight, excellent to type on and have lots of ports including HDMI. Battery life is excellent.

Edit: just noticed stacks with Shopback 5%

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2020

  • Also just want to mention the 400 nits matte screen - very clear and bright fine in sunlight.

It's been this price for months. Was the same price on ClickFrenzy and $30 less during Singles day. Also single channel ram. Imo if you're not in a rush wait for better deals during Black Friday..

    • Agreed. Also none of these are customisable to add 4G LTE.

  • Nice laptop, pity the sale models don't come with touchscreens.
Would be worth considering the $1499 X1 Yoga as well. 14" FHD Touch, i5-10210U, 8/256GB.

    • I got 16gb i5 10th gen with touch screen for 2k a few months ago
It’s noticeably lighter than the yoga which is great

      • Does the touch screen version come with a pen?

Pretty average deal for a nearly 18 month old version. There was a recent gen 8 deal for nearly the same price. But even if that deal doesn't repeat then just wait for a 15-20% cashback deal on lenovo.

I have this gen and had the gen 6 and it's better than my XPS 13.

  • Weight 1.1kg, nice.

  • This has HDMI and 2 Thunderbolt ports. Am I correct in thinking I could connect this to an eGPU and 3 external monitors?

    • I use a mini dock to run a 1440p monitor to one of the thunderbolts, and have a standard FHD monitor plugged into the HDMI.

I guess you could hook up an egpu but a gaming PC or something with a powerful graphics card for cad etc would be a tidier solution?

  • Was $1,529 as part of click frenzy last week.
