It's at the back, you can see in the pictures

  • Do these glass cases let out more electromagnetic radiation?

    • Probably but I'd be more concerned about the monitor than your components.

      • Is there a way to prevent the monitor from causing this?

        • +3

Not really man, but I'm not the most knowledgeable about this. I was trying to point out with my reply that it's not really worth worrying about. As long as you're not physically touching components, you'll be fairly safe but it sounds like you're more concerned than this. I'd do some internet searching on the subject if I was you, could bring up some good tips to help you feel better about it?

    • I don't imagine the usual very thing steel / aluminium panels block that much anyway?

Doesn't even come with fans, very overpriced

    • +1

Lian Li is a premium brand. They do have some cheaper/older models including lancool 2 which has three fans included for $155.

      • +1
Built a computer recently. Case I wanted had 3x fans included. All 3 went into the spare parts box.

    • +1

11 years ago, Lian Li made full aluminium cases. They were super premium and cost even more back then compared to their top cases today. My Lian Li cost almost $300 back then, which is $500 in today's dollars.

Overpriced in what sense. What other case with room for 3x360mm radiator are you talking about?

For me it's a great case being in the position of wanting a very quiet computer because it has 4x140mm and 4x120mm fans so they don't run very fast. My GPU can sit on the floor of the case (connected using a PCIe riser cable) and use fresh air for air cooling.

I also wish to switch to water cooling gradually and this is a great case for water cooling as well as air cooling.

    • the only case fans i could tolerate were the ones coming from fractal design's silent cases.

most times, fans or especially PSUs that comes with cases are not a good sign that majority of the $ went to case quality. just saying.

  • Great case, using it for a few months.

Only issue is you are obliged to fill with fans.

    • I bought 10 case fans for this, didn't realise those RGB fans are so pricey until I search for that…

      • Yeah I have 10 LL fans, such a fkin mess too

  • Great case but you'd better get a full loop in there otherwise it'll look rather empty.
The only nitpick I've got is its ROG badge like it actually means something.

    • I agree 'Gamer' labelled anything is lame but I can't even see the ROG branding

      • Yeah but what I meant is the ROG certification is factored into the cost that'll get passed to us that doesn't mean anything performance or aesthetic wise.

        • A ROG compatible rgb strip at the front. Buggy though.

  • Great case, Great price, bought the black version from PLE a few weeks ago for $339.00 with free shipping.
    .

    • Yeah PLE have good prices, I'm able to get the ROG XL for $315 shipped or standard silver for $175 shipped

They had so much room for a 5" bay vertically on the right there, and didnt provide one.

My PC serves as a HTPC also, no good if I can't put my Blurays in it.

    • +1

      External. Simple

No way they'd put optical in. It'd intefere with alot.

      • +1

Agreed, not the kind of case most people would use for a HTPC

      • I still feel there's more than ample room for a slimline drive down the right side; but to each their own.

        • Not with 9 fans there's not.

My cabling with Corsair is frightening.

I was also contemplating push pull 360mm on the side, no chance. Well unless I wanted to spend another few hours trying to squash it lol

  • Would be good if they made one water proof, roach proof and everything else proof.

    • +1

where do you plan on using it?? lol

      • balcony, or forest if you can't use a garage, can't use a bedroom what other choice you got…

Oh yeah Nintendo switch and game pass.

Stil doesn't answer my question (ノ`Д´)ノ彡┻━┻

        • porque no los dos?

  • I have never built my own PC (I own a gaming laptop), is it a good idea to buy this for my first ever build? Planning to get rtx 3080 setup next year

Or should I stick to Techfast/Titantech pre-builts? Wondering if I can save $$ if I buy my parts whenever I see a good deal in ozb

    • +1

This case is great but if you're not doing custom watercooling I'd probably suggest getting the Lancool II Mesh. I recently built in both cases and they're both super easy to work in. They also both allow you to place fans below the GPU which will help a lot with temps. I'd always recommend building yourself rather than buying prebuilt. It's a good skill to have, allows for better part selection and there's tons of resources online to help you out. It also depends on how much time you're willing to spend learning/researching.

      • Thanks for your reply!

Haven't really decided If I wanna get liquid cooling or not, but it's prolly too big of a hurdle to jump for a noob. Will keep an eye out for the other case

        • IMO for new builders, stick to air cooling, afaik, liquid cooling can be a bit fiddly because you have to renew/maintain the liquid after a couple of months, and the parts (eg seals) would wear out.

i'm still learning about it (for a new setup), but my lazy preference is to aircool as i tend to neglect or be too lazy to maintain the box and i am always paranoid about leaks.

    • +1

While I love the case, it's probably overkill for the average or new builder.

Stick to the mesh as mentioned here, something populated with adequate cooling. Though I've heard mixed reviews on its cooling.

I ordered the white o11 dynamic from these guys a week ago and have heard nothing. Paypal accepted payment right away but no email confirmation, no reply to my emails, nothing.

    • Hey. Have you heard anything? I'm thinking of ordering this case but was worried about your comment.

      • Yes, nothing to worry about .

  • have the non XL version, It's 100% the best case I've ever bought. Even though it's not the XL, there's plenty of room to work with. The whole thing with a custom water loop looks amazing. I will never change case if I don't have too.

These guys are based in NZ. Anyone having issues with shipping delays?

  • +2

I got the Neo Qube for $165 a while ago when the Dynamic wasn't on sale. Good case. literally 99.5% the same thing but with RGB front strip as standard and slightly thinner gauge metal which isn't an issue.

  • +1

Has anybody received order confirmation or shipping details? Their number is disconnected and still will not respond to emails.

    • +1

They just got back to me with tracking info, everything is fine and they had sent it out the day I ordered.

      • Thanks for the update - which one did you get?

  • +1 for a case that actually has a USB-C port in 2020

  • I have noticed that all lian li stuff apart from their fans are cheaper here, and everything else is just over priced. have purchased a few lian li things thanks :)
