I'd rather pay $829 and buy from a reputable computer store than pay these guys who jacked up the price before applying a "discount". MSRP is $829, this is a 1% discount, not a 20% they want you to think.

No computer alliance has is for $899. These guys always had it at $1049 because presumably they knew they would participate in this sale.

There really should be a law that comes down hard on companies charging more than msrp/rrp
I bought from these guys for $850 on release on Friday with the intention to claim price drops as I'd seen their previous deals on the 7800x3d.
Came the following Tuesday.
Can now claim $32 back, so that's nice.
