  let's say you buy a $100 gift card.
  It'll give you 100 pts x 6 = 600 pts
  600/2000 = $3 in rewards points (3% of 100), plus the 3% off = 6%

    More specifically, I think you only earn points for what you pay right

    So for a $100 GC you pay $97 earning 97x6 = 582 points (~$2.91)

    Since you pay $97 to get a total of $102.91 WW credit it'd be,

    (102.91-97)/102.91 = 5.74% off if I'm not wrong

  In case it’s missed in the t&cs, you must spend $150 to qualify for the 6x points and it only applies to 1 transaction.

  If you have the Bupa offer, first transaction with $150 spend earns 8x points, and the second transaction with $150 spend earns 6x points.

  Can you use the vanilla mastercard from this week's woolworths offer to buy these? Or have they blocked the use of gift cards?

    Only payment cards that support 3-D Secure can be used on the Everyday Rewards app. The app checks whether your payment card supports this when you try to add it as a new payment method.

    Prepaid gift cards (e.g. Vanilla Mastercard gift cards) are unable to support 3-D Secure, so when you try to add one as a new payment method, you will get an error message saying Oops, we could not add your bank card. Please try a different card. (And yes, I just tried this with a Vanilla Mastercard gift card.)
