At the very least the new Ryzen will put downward pressure on this by that stage. Unless you have a specific requirement for intel or an lga1200 board already I wouldn't get this.
great reminder thanks! was going to purchase this and just realized the new zen is coming this october. from previous gen pricing of new ryzen is almost identical to the last gen at a noticably better performance. buying this and buying a board for this is no brainer at this stage
