No deal. 2018 model. Shouldn’t sell for RRP so there’s no true discount . Lol @ $1800 for display model 5 y/o

the 2015 is a desirable model.

      • But it was on display for 5 years!!

        • You've also got to wonder why a 5 year old machine would remain on display for 5 years… I doubt those are truly 'display' machines.

      • to who?

That 2015 model may just be the last model that you can upgrade the NVMe SSD. And not have the butterfly keyboard.

2020 model doesn’t have butterfly keyboard

There is no 15.4” MBP 2020 model

  • Display model apparently has 2yrs warranty and can get applecare. Is this correct OP?

    • probably store warranty. definitely no apple warranty as it's been activated and used

  • Students only, or for anyone?

many of these old MacBook models are display models!! contact them before purchasing because they don't specify display in the listing.. which is a bit dodge

Terrible value on the 2015 model, no independent graphics card. CPU is slower than the 2018 13 inch i5-8259u.

  • Bought a 2018 MacBook Pro 15" (2.6, 512Gb) for $2500 recently which I'm happy with. It arrived new and sealed of course, but note that some models do specify they're ex-display.

Given that I couldn't find 15" models anywhere else, and it's a whole extra $1000 for a 2019 16", it's actually not a bad buy despite what people say (given you're looking for a 15" MacOS laptop).

No offense to the poster but how would you call this a deal with no dedicated GPU , 2-3 years old model , display model who knows how many years on display!!!!

  • It's amazing how people still pay close to $2000 for like 5 year old Macs. And they're not even new!

  • where do all the old macs go on discounted sales?
