130

Easily the cheapest and best deal you'll get on the Wahoo ELEMENT ROAM.
Wahoo products rarely go on sale.

Wahoo ELEMENT ROAM (RRP $599) + Free Wahoo Tickr (RRP $90) + Free Shipping
Additional 5% off if you sign up to their mailing list.
(I only got the 5% pop up on mobile, you can still sign up via the webpage but I cannot confirm if you get the code if you don't sign up through the pop up).

I took this offer to 99bikes who matched it so I didn't have to wait for it to ship.
I just showed them the offer + the 5% off pop up and they matched it, just need to be a member ($5 for a lifetime)

It comes to a $114.95 saving (net of membership cost) which is a 19% saving.

Hope you all find this useful !

Decent price with the Tickr included. I've had a Bolt for about 18 months and definitely prefer it over previous Garmins

    • Good to hear, it's my first computer was tossing up between Garmin and Wahoo, was a rough choice even after reading reviews!

They're rock solid. You won't be disappointed

Look to get a speed and cadence senor as well if you don't already have them too

      • You must have missed the news about the Garmin hack.

I imagine that fiasco would have scared away a lot of customers.

        • i must have, vaguely rings a bell i'll give it a read up

@h0nkieb0i: In any case, you made the right choice with the Roam. :)

I managed to buy the stealth bundle (Roam + Tickr + speed and cadence sensors) for the price of a Roam a few months ago (~$565, including Zip Pay discount and Cashrewards cashback), thanks to possibly a pricing error by catch.com.au. I didn't post it on Ozbargain because I half expected it to be cancelled, but they shipped it and by that time had changed the price to $729…

I love the navigation and the re-routing functions of the Roam - I've been doing a lot of exploring due to the 5km limit of the Melbourne lockdown.

I also recently discovered the cue sheet page: it tells you the distance to the next cue of your route - you'll need to set the cues yourself using a gpx editor though… I use the Maplocs app. The cue sheet function came in handy when I was attempting a burbing.

The Tickr and sensors were hassle-free and very easy to set up.

I really like the tactile buttons of the Wahoos, as I previously had an old Magellan Cyclo and the touchscreen annoyed me so much, especially when I was wearing gloves in the winter.

    • Same.. I've had the 810, 520, 820… and now the Elemnt.

I much much prefer the Elemnt.

  • I just tried price matching with 99 bikes and they advised that they have the wahoo element roam bundle for the same price as the head unit @$599.

I went with the bundle for $599. Let me know if anyone wants a copy of the invoice.

    • can you share the bundle link?

      • A quick google search shows this and says it’s OOS. The price noted was $599.

I suppose it’s a store by store basis if they still have stock and luckily enough the one i tried was available.

        • tried calling the blackburn 99 bikes and said the bundle is $719.
which one did you call? keen to grab the same deal

  • I can pm u an invoice

    • sure!

      • Can I have a copy too?

        • Yes I want to try in NSW too

    • Could l also get a copy please? Would like to see if I can get the same offer in NSW
