Banggood have another Teclast tablet on sale from their AU warehouse. A lot more high end in comparison to the Teclast P80 from yesterday as it has a larger screen, more storage, more RAM and also comes with a keyboard. Review from Techtablets here.

    X27=junk

    • No good? What Snapdragon does it compete with..?

    • +3

But hey a UNISOC that no one has heard of is okay. Snapdragon is far too expensive for the budget brands to use.

People simply expect budget devices makers having magic these days.

@Clear, I bit the Alldocube iPlay 20 deal yesterday and now you make me fancy a keyboard case to go with it. Which one would you recommend that is decent and represents good value?

        • +1

Basically. They don't understand the licensing costs associated with Qualcomm and minimum quantities required. Even just adding extra 4G band support like B28 costs extra.

          • @Clear: Why is everyone so obsessed with B28?
Is it the free pony & handjob band?

*Edit - nvm. A quick Google returned me to OzB for a decent explanation.

        • There are about 6 tablets on the market now with the same specs as the Alldocube with minimal changes. Does it have the pogo pins for the keyboard? I know the Blackview Tab does.

      Agree with vfm.
Please guys get Chinese tablet with Helio P70 at minimum

    • I wouldn't say that. Probably comparable to SDM650

      neither

    • Yes

  • I like how the bezels seem to change sizes in the different product shots.

    • +1

Techtablets mentioned that first up in his review. Having no bezels in marketing material is the Chinese way.

  • pay a bit more to get the T30 instead

    • -1

how does the t30 compare with the latest samsung galaxy tablet??

  • Anyone know how THIS fares against the Telcast M16 ?

    • +2

That one looks more capable - built in 4G, CPU performance a bit stronger, and Android 10 which is the current up to date version.
The only downsides are it does not come with a keyboard, and the lesser known brand and UNISOC processor.
These tablets would be even better if they ran ChromeOS like the Lenovo Duet.

      • Easy cheers for the input.

    • +1

Screen is much better than the M16 but no Pogo pin for external keyboard case as @clear mentioned above.

Yea and soc is also a step below X27

Actually both are around the sd625 level which is decent at this price point.

Upside is that it can be had for$169 including shipping insurance https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/9109632/redir

  • As per my experience with Generic brands , Configuration could be very high but it’s the screen resolution and clarity which make these purchases not worthy.

    • +1

Good thing it's not a generic brand then 😉

I bought a Teclast T10 in 2017, and it has been great. Very good 2560 x 1600 IPS screen, performance good.
Downsides have been occasional random freezes/reboots and no updates to the Firmware.

Just a friendly heads up, I ordered an item from Banggood last weekend (the 7th) from the Australian store and it hasn't dispatched yet. I ask about it and they keep telling me to wait.

Just opened a dispute on PayPal because they aren't interested in helping.
