[Pre Order] 20% off Samsung Galaxy S25 Range + Bonus Trade-in Discount: eg $150 for S25 Ultra @ Westpac Rewards (Online Banking)

580

Similar to this mega thread https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/890072 but it appears that the Samsung EDU & EPP offer is also available to existing Westpac debit card and credit cardholders.

I found the Samsung deal by:
1) Signing into Westpac Online Banking (I believe you need to go through Online Banking and can't copy and paste the Samsung URL?)
2) Go to "Westpac Rewards"
3) Click on "Discounts and Extras"
4) Click on the Samsung offer which has the following offer details

"Enjoy up to $839 RRP on your new device*.
20% discount for Westpac customers
$100 Bonus Trade in for S25 Base, Plus models.
$150 bonus trade in for S25 Ultra model
50% off 2 Year Samsung Care+"

Mods - happy for you to merge this thread with the other one

we need atleast $500 Trade bonus
Edit: I was trying to add the Bonus $400 code and it stacks with that. also can add GALAXY2025, but for only $100 off, not $200 anymore and have to add something atleast $200 worth, so i added Buds 3 pro which are also 40% off for $239.

    • You can also chat with them to get Bonus $400 trade in voucher, if you dont have any.

    • +1

You don't have to add $200 of accessories, you just need to add a minimum of $100 dollars of accessories and you get $100 off

    • THey will probably appear in the non EPP or regular Samsung store where there is no 20% off.

  • +10

Why is this a seperate post?
Should every EPP partner get a post

    • Good point, the other deal hasn't expired since 20% and $150 trade in bonus is still available. It was only marked as expired because of the code - but it isn't mentioned in title.

      • It's not even that the code has expired, its just reduced to $100 dollars of accessories instead of $200

    • +5

Fair call but isn't EPP the Employee Purchase Program for Samsung partners?

This deal is very similar but open to Westpac customers as well

    • +2

For those who can't access EPP or EDU portals

  • I've been a Westpac customer for over a year but I can never see the Samsung link in Westpac rewards.

I've tried from the app and browser

    • +3

Westpac Rewards - discount and extras that’s where the Samsung link is

      • +1

        I don't have it either!?

        • +1

I have account from 1 year just update.. Still no offer

        • +1

          In app,go to "more" tab

          • Westpac rewards
          • Discounts and extras
          • Filter for Samsung
      • +3

Pressing Discounts & Extras: "You have no offers to display at this time. Please check back later" from a new Westpac account.

        • +1

Unfortunately exact same "no offers at this time" same as above for me.

      • +1

        @twig @Wwdesi

Nope, tried that already. Still nothing.

        • +1

Ah balls, must be targeted then. Thanks for confirming

Shame I can't give you a code or something. Got zero interest in buying a new phone

          • @twig: Nah all good. I already got a s25 Ultra but was looking one for my wife and to see if there's some good deals via Westpac.

    • Also I've noticed sometimes the Samsung offer from westpac is removed for a few days and then it appears again. Not sure why.

  • but it cant stack with the 5% discount for first order in samsung app

    • Yes it can. I've used it twice. You don't need the app to get the 5% first purchase discount.

      • really? was thinking it cant
and tried my uni email for edu discount, luckily set up the forwarding from the old uni one, still can get the discount from it

  • Steps for getting the Samsung offer
    1. Open the Westpac app
    2. Click on the more options
    3. Click on Westpac rewards
    4. Click on the discount and extra
    5. Click on the Samsung offer and it will take you to Samsung website

some ppl have it , others do not.

  • how is this deal compared with previous edu store one?

There is less 5% off, and no 20 voucher for 100?

    • +2

It's the same offer for the s25 series at 20% off.

I got the S25+ for my friend while the galaxy2025 code was still $200. Also stacked with $400 + $100 + 5% first purchase

      • Isnt galaxy2025 down to $100 now?

        • Yeah I got it on Friday night.

  • All these discounts add to Samsungs massive depreciation.

    • +1

Not if you buy it with discounts to begin with… Which you should be :)

  • +1

This is targeted btw. Not all are getting access to it.

    • what is not targeted, is the westpac business one plus account … possibly need an ABN.

I got access to it that way.

      • +1

I only got Westpac choice and I have access to this.

        • yes I know, and many do not.

What I am saying is this: your advice does not apply to everyone, whereas mine does.
Just writing this so if others see it, they know what to do

          • +1

@bohn: How is mine not helpful lol. Im letting everyone know not all that have access to westpac rewards can see the samsung portal. That is all.

            • @ozchobie: I know this, but myself, and many others signed up to choice and do not get the samsung offer.
so I just added a sure way to get it, which is the business one plus account..

obv someone like you who has access via choice has no need to bother ;)

        • Same just westpac choice and got the access.
Last time when I found, I cant but now I can.

Just login on computer and see.

I used the government portal got it down to 658 for s25ultra 512gb with 2 covers, powerbank, screen protector and fast charging cable for my samsung watch. Pretty good deal. Traded in my s23 ultra. Used 400 + 200 accesories + 150 + edu disccount plus get $20 turns to $100 voucher.

    • +1

So $658 final purchase price or $658 discount?

      • +2

That would be final because he traded in his S23U

        • Ahh ok.

    • do they still sell $100 voucher for $20 ???

  • +2

these discounts on offer from day 1 show how huge the markup is on rrp from samsung.

    • -3

      100%
That's why i boycott samsung and aaple phones.

  • +1

Sure way to get access is via a Westpac Business One Plus account
    Guaranteed Samsung portal access

    • whats the discount breakdown on that?

    • +1

      Hey
Can I ask how you managed that?

      I've got the 20% off
      GALAXY2025 for $100 off accessories
      Trade in bonus of 400 + 150.
      5% off App

My total for the 1TB ultra is $1580.

How is yours significantly cheaper/ what am I missing?

      Thanks

      • Not sure how some are getting these prices.
I've tried a heap of times and it never gets close to that

        • I got mine 25u 512 gb for $983.
I had bought another phone with it.
N the trick was to only buy 200 worth of accessories and then not use the other 200 from the 2nd phone. The 200 from 2nd phone would just subtract the total bill which is good.
          This was from epp.

      • $200 for GALAXY2025
        $20 for $100 eVoucher

Not sure why I was downvoted, didn't mean to show off or anything, my intention was merely a big thanks to Westpac and how much difference it made compared to buying from a retail shop. Westpac matched Samsung EDU prices.

        • Cause how did you save ~60% off with only the two codes? Doesn't seem right…

          • @Eriadnile:

            • $100 Galaxy eVoucher+ has been applied!
            • Voucher applied! $200 eVoucher discount.
            • Voucher applied! $400 Trade-In bonus.
            • $150 Trade-ln bonus applied.
            • Welcome to Samsung! Here's 5% off your first purchase. Promotion applied

I listed no trade-in as I won't be returning my $1 device, so technically I should add another $61 to the price + $20 to buy eVoucher.

            • @noshopping: How'd you get to 976 though? I used all those discounts you listed and could only get the 256GB to 1052. Or is your costs minus the accessory refund?

              • +1

@F-22: @F-22 it's likely the price $976 does not include accessory cost

                • @kctt: yes, does not include accessories. Sorry my initial post was correct but also abit misleading at the same time. Its true the actual device cost was around that, but it was only possible with buying additional accessories with the order.

                  • @noshopping: OK, that aligns with what I was seeing then.

                  • @noshopping: I missed the boat to cancel the accessories so will try for the return once I receive.

    • Did you have the breakdown ? Mine was coming to $1195 after all the discounts and trade in ?

    • +2

$976 with no trade in? Impossibru!

  • +1

Order S25 ultra 1TB last night with the above offer/ $400 discount code & GALAXY2025 code for $200.

Added Galaxy Buds 3 pro & traded S21 ultra for $290.

    Total after discount $1397 for S25 ultra 1TB & Buds 3 Pro.

    • Why sell the s21 for 290? That's a rip off.

      • Based on the phone condition it was around $450- $500 value if selling it on other platforms. So $290+$150 trade in bonus was the safest & hassel free option to go with this option. $440 is a good price to sell.

  • Thank op. Dont need the s25 but able to get a pair of buds 3 pro for $239 (pre-order). Just what ive been waiting for after losing my buds 2 pro :)

  • How does everyone get these extremely low prices by adding all these discounts? I can't seem to make it work other than the default 20% applied.

    • +2

It's pretty much the $400+$150 'trade in' discounts on top of it, plus the $200 galaxy2025 code (now $100) which applies only to accessories but the accessories can be cancelled or returned, therefore applying the discount to the phone

Here for my steps (some of these now expired or no longer applies) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16193741/redir

      • thanks mate, but am i missing something here? Can't get it down any lower, even with the $200 back I'm still at $1,214.60

        Or am I mathing wrong.

        https://tinypic.host/image/1.2s1g0M

        • Galaxy 2025 code was for $200 that expired this morning. It's now worth $100.

I also had the $20 voucher worth $100 that had ended as well.

This is probably the best right now, I assume if you return the $179 buds, it will be $1387 - $179 = $1208, +30 trade in penalty = $1,238

          • @lawyerz: Sorry, last question.

Just tried cancelling, but doesn't allow me to cancel the accessories individually, seems like I can only cancel the whole order?

            https://tinypic.host/image/Capture.2s1Q6x

            Thank you.

            • @Makaroni: You can only cancel after you get the email for order confirmation, usually next day. And you need to leave at least 1 accessory in the order. If you have only the one, you can't cancel but you can return later on

              • @lawyerz: Cheers, really appreciate your assistance.

  • The Westpac website says access to the samsung store with a debit card account yet i don't have it. Not Happy Jan

    • I only have CC account with Westpac and I have it

  • I was very confused when someone posted an amazing discounted price. Checked again and concluded for now, if you have no trade in, 20% off is all you can get; if you do trade in, you get 20% off plus $400+150 credit, that’s all. The trade in value of your old phone is not discount.

    • +2

Select a phone with a trade-in value of $10, select cracked screen, brings it down to $1, then don't send it in. You get charged $60 for not sending it in + $1 value of phone = $61, but you effectively get $400+150 =$550 - $61 = $489 discount.

      • How dare you use logic and maths!

      • which phone has $10 value?

is this westpac deal better than the other main samsung deal post?

      • I dont seem to get the option to select 'cracked screen' to bring it to $1? Can only get it to $10 trade in.

  • Not to hijack this thread but the Z Fold/Flip 6 series are also at 30% off, with $200 bonus trade in, offer expiring 29/01/25.

    • Not stack with the $400 code.
