Its a good price … however … I recently purchased a cheap media player unit (Midte MDT-PM368HP) and have been severely disappointed with the output of divx files.
The flexibility of resizing the displayed media file is limited (eg: picture only fills up partial screen) and if zoomed in, pixelation an distortion occurs (along with slower fram rate).
I havent been able to find much information on this device … just more of a beware message that a good old xbox or xbox 360 linked to the home network is a far better option in my experience with the cheaper media player units
Had seen this on the SSq site at the "full" price, and thought it looked like an interesting piece of kit - 1TB storage - remote for media centre functions et cetera. Would be keen to hear of any experience with this particular unit. I've been given the use of a D-Link DSM-320 w'less media streaming box and have found it very handy for watching video files on TV straight off the PC, so I'm interested in the functionality/performance of other devices.
