A lot of Hikvision cameras have the darkfighter technology which through my research seems to perform better in low light conditions. I reckon I will be going the Hikvision as well.

It might be worth checking individual prices before purchasing the package. Especially if you are planning on upgrade HDD capacity. I recently bought Dahua system from them, and buying individual cameras and NVR were cheaper than buying then in a package. The delivery was fast, and am pretty happy with the cameras.
Self installing or Upgrading HDD isn't that difficult if you ever installed HDD on a PC. The NVR came with the brief instruction and all the cables.
