Genuine Apple refurbished iPad mini 5 (2019)
I was looking for some new iPads for the kids and I nearly bought the ones at Umart for $589 but I noticed Apple has some as refurbished at the moment for $509 delivered. You get full apple warranty and free shipping and returns.
I’ve bought Apple genuine refurbished in the past and the only difference I can tell is the box is plain white rather than printed.
No worries. Ours arrive tomorrow. The kids are looking forward to them.

I just got an iPad Mini 4 and bought these glass screen protectors from eBay 2 for $4.55 shipped in Australia. Don't know if they're any good but thought it's a good price.

I'm hoping being Belkin branded they're reasonable quality - they have a two year warranty

Not an apple user but my son wants an ipad now. Is this the latest product in their budget ipad lines? Or there are other Gens after this ?
This is the most current entry-level iPad. It's about halfway through its lifecycle now. However, just wait until tomorrow as Apple is having their WWDC keynote in the US. It's not expected to have any updates announced for this iPad, but better to make sure.

thanks, I find the regular sized one a bit large for kids, but I know some parents love then for their kids

the thing the ipad 7th seems to have is bigger screen (if required) and more base storage
Is it a really a discount when these are $599, Brand New? I think there is also a difference with warranty as well - refurbished products only having a 1 year warranty whilst new products are covered by Australian consumer law (ACL) for Apple to honour 2 years.
It's still 2 years covered by Australian consumer law.
$509 down from $599 is a 15% discount, which is great.

Wouldn’t mind one just to have as a music streamer for the kitchen. Paired with my Plex server, YouTube and my Q Acoustic speakers it should work and look schmick. Thanks for the heads up

I love the size of these but I wish they would do a Pro version and reduce the edges and get rid of the button.
Allegedly there's a new iPad mini coming where they do that, might be worth the wait but it'd probably be considerably more.
