People don’t use MS Paint in 2020

@PleasureMe: Unless they need to clarify who's got right of way by consensus of ozbargainers

Have a agree with DVDs. No issues with 4K and 1080p BR but DVD is a mystery to me. To each his own I guess

      People still use MS Paint?

    • 2010 called, they want their joke back.

  • JB must really be struggling these days. This is, what, the 5th bluray sale in the space of 2 months?

    • +8

JB was founded on constant "sales"

    • They're probably struggling a bit given the sales at TGG too. But this may be lead by studios and distributors, sales of physical optical media must have fallen off a cliff over the past years with proliferation of streaming services.

As with the financial crisis government handouts tend to be spent on electronic gadgets.

Far from it. Their share price floats ~$40 now, up from ~$22 March 2019.

They have a great business model.

  • It sure sucks when you buy an item from day one of release in fear of being sold out and a 20% sale ended a day or so prior to release. Then another 3 deals happen after purchase and its excluded. Then finally they offer a discount on the item.
But too late for me to go back as more than 30 days.
I think next time i wait it out.
I have purchased several similiar items in past im which a sale started right after or while item was released and got the deal.
But funny how this one never after several sales and widely available still.
I suppose thats the risk you take but from experience i know now they hang around a bit.
And as they have so many sales these days its not in there favour to make max money as people are waiting until next deal.
I do a bit of both wait for deals and sometimes not but i think certain items i take a chance next time.

    • Whoa there…..
If this is "guess what the item is"? I am thinking Terminator Dark Fate Steel Book? Or The Skywalker Saga?

      • My guess is The Skywalker Saga, too.

      • Yep correct on one you obviously get the picture only item i know of in few years to be excluded in deals till now

On the plus side, buying it on first day does give you first bragging rights…lol

If you're after a couple of reference discs on the 2 for $40 to really show off your system, The Matrix and Saving Private Ryan are true 4K and look and sound insane. Pretty good use of $32. Blade Runner 2049 too, and all of the Nolan ones as well.

      Dunkirk is pretty good.
The Dynasty animal show in 4K looks pretty good too.

    • Pity Jaws isn't included

    • +1

That's amazing. Just confirmed on here that The Matrix is true 4K. I had no idea.

Such an old movie but has aged well.

One of my favourite actors too: Keanu.

How does this deal stack with the 2 for $40?

Does it make it 2 for $32?

    • It should

    • It has in the past.

    • Yes it does

    • Can confirm it did. Picked up both blade runners

      • 4K or Bluray for 2049? Bladerunner 2049 on Bluray is only $6.50 on Amazon right now in case anyone interested

        • +2

No question you should get the 4K.
          It’s outstanding

          • @beatsntoons: I just checked on Amazon
            Bladerunner 4K - $14.99
            Bladerunner 2049 4K - $15.00

Also if you never played Bladerunner the PC game it recently was re-released for the first time in over 20 years on GOG and currently on sale. It's amazing!!!

        • I was stuck shopping with the misso to be honest. I had no intention of buying any movies. Just stating that the deal works n what I got.

  • matrix 4k collection OOP?
