To get the same features as Eufy, you will have to pay a monthly subscription with Ring. Also Ring won't work with Google Assistant I believe, since it's owned by Amazon and will therefore only support Alexa.
That's alot to miss out for Google home users
It's more the other way around, Google wont work with Ring since Google pulled the pin on their "Works with Nest" program and dont want to play nice with anyone else.
Alexa/Ring is more open, for example you can link the Ring cameras to SmartThings and trigger automations based on motion, and do things like automatically pop a live thumbnail of the camera up on your Samsung TV when it detects motion with the option to view it full screen etc.
Semantics aside, i've had a Ring cameras for about 18 months and found them excellent but IMHO the wired floodlight camera is a lot better then the doorbell if you just want one camera for the front.
On the topic of this..can anyone recommend an intercom for a new house build that's wired ,reliable and Google friendly :)
