For those after TLOU2 tomorrow at 10am, I'm guessing that it will be this item.

Click bait deal purely aimed at enticing new ebay plus accounts and not rewarding old accounts. Drip feeding in multiple drops to maximise clicks throughout the day otherwise one drop would be fair to stop new accounts. Designed like this on purpose.

any of these airpod deals ever become "in stock" when they go live? or are all of them spoken for cause they have them in basket? seems when I check these deals they are always listed as OOS even before they go live.
That was for 100 airpods, and according to history, 100 sold out under 10 sec, so for 900, I could take up to 90sec or less probably?
probably right in terms of time but wondered if at any point their listings showed them in stock, anytime i checked prior or after they showed oos. Some of these deals had their item listings as in stock however these airpod deals not so much
Not necessarily. All 900 could go in 10 seconds if there are more people buying it. Having said that, it's good there is a bigger lot - more people could have success getting this.

The banner on eBay specifically states 'For new members only'. Unsure what constitutes a 'new member' but it seems like a ploy to get people to subscribe to plus.

Can I just ask, how do you force the account to default to the credit card payment? I’ve tried everything from disconnecting my paypal account to eBay and removing everything else and typing in my credit card info on the my accounts wallet page but when the crunch time comes at the final checkout stage it always bloody defaults to PayPal and I always lose those precious few seconds…
Remove all other payment methods. Make a purchase with your credit card that you intend to use.
In the user settings you can only remove payment methods but not add them. Like julz15 said, the only way is to remove everything then buy something with credit card with the save details button ticked.

As many times peeps have said, do not use paypal, if you prepare to loose out. But 900 in stock may be forgiving.
I usually use PayPal for eBay purchases but I've entered + saved my credit card details (in eBay) to hopefully have a better chance of purchasing before they're all gone

I wish they just sell it for $149 with more stock instead of $99, so only those who really want it will buy it but not for those who are just looking to resell it.
Or at least make this deal only for those who have joined Ebay plus for a couple of months. I'm not an ebay plus member but at least this will make it fair for those who already paying for the membership.
