Don't you know pump it up, you got to pump it up!

Unbelievable. I bought one from Amazon last week for $29.95. Will they refund the difference?

    These Michelin pumps are rubbish.

The schrader valve attachment is a pain to put on (threaded, not clip on) and the hoses break off.

They basically fall apart after several uses in my experience with them.

  • and it's out of stock… thought of getting one for bike.

    • That was quick - can still get from SCA or the digital gauge version still available on amazon for an extra 3 bucks

    • These might be ok for toys or kids bikes with low-pressure tyres.

But if you have a real road bike, it is worth getting a proper track pump.
Amazon has some for $25, but might be too cheap to be any good?

    • get a proper cycling pump that have regular pump + high pressure pump that have a PSI gauge, though expensive, you will not regret it
because of the barrel size, you need way less cycles to inflate something as big as a gym ball

with high pressure, foot pump will never able to fill the tyres up to the optimal PSI, once it reaches ~80%, even if you put your entire body weight on it it will not anymore air into it (that's how I broke my mine, tried to squeeze more air in by stomping, and snapped the frame)

"and it's out of stock… thought of getting one for bike."

Must have be snapped up by hipster nostalgia buffs (now that they realise that cassette tapes & recorders are not making a comeback after all)!

.. I had a horror nightmare when I saw the original post… Visions of bruised and skinned knuckles and ankles flashed before my eyes. Definitely the most horrible piece of kit in my car's emergency tool kit and suitably buried out of sight inside the spare tyre well of my car :)
