      You're welcome fonzie

  • Great, hope this code works on the mesh router I am looking to buy.

    • +1

what mesh router did you buy.. I am looking for one too.. can you please share link

      • +1

        @dumkaze

I am thinking of buying one of these … haven't decided yet. I have a single storey 2BR house, so a 2 pack would suffice.

Both of these have gigabit ports so will easily handle 100Mpbs+ NBN plan as well.

        Tenda

        TP-Link

Both have good reviews on Amazon.

    Targeted :(

Unfortunately my Prime free trial expired just yesterday.

    • if you like games, join twitch prime, gives you access to amazon prime, amazon prime videos, amazon audio and twitch itself which gives free games monthly + other gaming bonuses its kinda crazy for the price

      • +5

But don't you get Twitch Prime with an Amazon Prime membership anyway? Which is more expensive?

        • +4

Not sure what wahush is saying, Twitch Prime is a perk of Amazon Prime.

          • @Zazer: really? i just have twitch prime and amazon prime came with it :O am i paying more then just having prime normally?

            • +1

@wahush: How much are you paying for Twitch Prime?

            • @wahush: Amazon prime is cheaper than twitch prime, and you get both.

  • Not targeted :(

  • Didn't work, so must be targeted.

  • Damn looks like it's targeted. Good deal though!

  • Doesn't come up for me.. Think it's targeted.

  • +7

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

  • i have prime and not working for me :(

  • +2

Doesn't seem to work with video games on sale unfortunately - tried to add it to Doom Eternal without luck

  • Targeted:(

  • Targeted :( Great discount for those eligible

  • +2

Can anyone explain why it doesn't apply to this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/540948

    Seller is Amazon AU

Edit: I guess because it's targeted… but the error was "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

    • Same as me - it's targeted and despite buying a lot - I wasn't :(

    • yep its targeted

  • Doesn't work for me either (existing Prime member).
Can anyone confirm a specific product they got it to work on?

  • Nuts, not me :(

  • Wanted to buy a $40 grinder but doesn't work for me….
Can't see anyone has it working in the comments

    • +1

      which grinder out of curiosity

  • +2

Can anyone besides OP confirm if it worked for them?

  • Targeted. Doesn't work for me

  • Nope, doesn't work for me.

  • No dice here either. How active was the account you received it on?

  • +4

Targeted :( probably not eligible as I’ve been using my prime account constantly since Covid. Amazon au is getting much better. Shipping has been fast even over covid. Well worth the $60 a year given you get prime video as well.

  • +11

Has this worked for anyone? There's 80 upvotes for the deal but no comments from anyone who has been able to use the code.

    • +2

      That's ozbargain for you

    • +3

Amazon seems to enjoy a positive reputation on OzBargain. If this was on Ebay there would be a torrent of hate. Not saying the criticism of Ebay isn't warranted, but I don't really get the love for Amazon. Their Prime membership is good value though and way better than Ebay 'Plus'.

      • Amazon Prime > eBay Plus

Also the 'eligible items' & the price jacking on eBay are the fuel for downvotes and hatred

  • Targeted :(

  • No dice.

OP can you provide proof of email/deal from Amazon?

  • Seems targeted for sure

  • +2

For those who haven't used this deal you can still get $10 off $39 spend when using the app https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/538670

  • Have prime, not eligible, am a sad boy.

  • Not working for me

  • None for me on 2 Prime accounts

  • Not working for me….Targetted….anyone had any success yet. :(

  • +6

Im amazed that a post has 100+ up votes in less than an hour and no one besides OP has managed to get it to work.

    Do people just blindly upvote?

    • +2

I just upvoted your comment without reading it

  • Sorry guys, I looked over an important point in terms and conditions.
It's only valid for those who haven't purchased in the last 12 months it seems.

    • bugger

    • +13

What an odd target market lol, how does someone have prime and not make a purchase in 12 months?

      • Yeah it's strange - although I got it on an account that does not have Prime?

        • Weird.. Can you use the code even if you don't sign up for prime again on that account?

      • Someone who only uses Prime Video perhaps. Still rare though.

  • +2

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Who would have prime (pay $7 a month) and not buy something in the last year??

    • Probably someone who just uses Prime Video I would guess

    • You must be really smart if that's the dumbest thing you've ever heard.

  • +1

I got it on my second account that hasn't been a prime member. So I guess technically this means I would need to sign up, 6.99, then get 15 off, so really it's just $8.01 off an order? I think that's how I understand it? OP thoughts?

  • Thanks for the post. Wow super niche target market, who has prime has not purchased for over 12 months.

  • Yep didn't work for me.
Was hoping on picking up some cheap items.

  • Targetted

  • +7

What sane person is paying for Prime and hasn't bought a single thing in over 12 months?

Surely Prime Video & Amazon Music are not worth it alone!

    • +3

Prime video alone for $7 a month is pretty worth it tbh. Can't wait for The Expanse V

  • Stupid question - doesnt prime give you access to their streaming services for music and movies/tv? Or is that only available in the US? I thought amazon had a netflix style streaming service - so if that's the case could people subscribe to prime and use it for just that and not purchase anything?

    • Prime does have Prime Video, Twitch, Prime Music etc.
Prime Video has the office, but that's all I really use Prime Video for.

    • Yes. Prime membership includes access to their video streaming service. You do get basic music but the Music Unlimited is a separate subscription.

I have Prime and Netflix. I think Prime has less choice but after having Netflix for a couple of years I am finding it hard to find something I want to watch. So now, Prime is my first choice.

Go for the free trial and see if the choices suit you.

    • My man, go here and log in with your Prime account

  • I guess this is for those people who only use prime for other reasons (twitch etc) and they are trying to get people to also buy products on amazon.

  • +1

I had an old account, no purchases for 18 months, can’t use code.

Given this has over 100 votes it’s amazing how only one or two people have benefited from this.
