    I swear every time I buy Gami the price has gone up. Best fried chicken on earth but dam pricey.

        Agreed that it has gone downhill, and it is very dependent on the outlet. I have had some in Melbourne which was brilliant and others so-so, but the Sydney outlets are averaging lower quality in my experience.

        It's not that great compared to a proper Chimaek place. It's quite anglicized.

            @WillKillfor5Cents: Very much this, i also noticed that over the years the workers went from being friendly to disinterested and even downright rude. At least in the city venues.

        There's a few Korean fried chicken joints that are better these days, especially around the CBD and North Melbourne area. Good Ovening is really good - usually juicy and not overcooked meat. Chimac used to be great too. Gami was just kinda the first well known KoreanFC joint in Melbourne so they had first mover advantage.

      If you're in a delivery area, or want to pickup, give another kfc a chance, such as Chicken Episode.

        I've ordered from Chicken Episode a few times, and it's actually really good value for money because you get so much food. But Chicken Episode is not Korean-style fried chicken, so I wouldn't recommend it if that's what you're after.

    Im stuck in doordash’s verifying second card.
    I have succesfully ordered doordash before. Why would i need a 2nd card and why would it reject it?!

    FYI You don't need the Gami app at all for delivery, the code works straight from the Doordash app.
    But for pickup you'll want to use the code on the Gami app as it comes out cheaper (no DD markup).

      you gotta get sauce on the side.
      that way if the deadsh*ts at DoorDash take too long to deliver it, you can crisp it up in the oven (or air-fryer ftw!), and cover it in the sauce yourself at home!

      We added chips in our last delivery and it was really crunchy even after 30mins (i think they double cooked it)

      Mate u gotta try Korean chicken. First time they have 10% off first order and it was awesome. 2 weeks later they send me a 25% off code!! Totally worth using up my takeaway quota on this place!

    I don't know how Doordash works out it's delivery area - I'm literally one suburb away from a Gami store and can't get delivery!
