Better off buying the Galaxy S10 for a little bit more with local warranty and overall a better phone

eh last time i went samsung the bloatware was crazy

      • +1

last xiaomi that wasn’t android one also had bloatware …..my nokia is android one and i think next phone will be android one …

      • Ah what? Miui has far more bloat and advertising.

      Nah no way.

Where did you hear that it's a better phone or is that a guess? It seems like a complete guess from someone who hasn't been reading up on phones lately. The processor on this phone is the weak point but apart from that it blows the S10 out of the water. The camera gives the S20 Ultra run for its money (some might say that's not hard given all the issues Samsung have with their cameras) . I've been very tempted by this phone and at this price it's even more tempting.

Fairly sure they are in different class, one is flagship and one is mid-range.

        See a comparison here

Also, why do people care about camera so much? That is always at the bottom of my list

        • +1

yeah, camera is not a big deal for me either ….they all take good pictures now days, and they fix issues via software, pictures ……..and if the subject is boring or bad composition, the camera won’t fix that.

i’m more concerned about screen quality e.g oled vs ips and battery size, i spend more time looking at screen than time spent taking pictures taking pictures

  • I ordered mine for 693 ($24 delivery) its still in transit. Any chance I can ask kogan to give me the balance left.?

    • Return it and get refund postage via paypal

      • Paid via kogan credit $500. So no PayPal

Just in case you're not aware, Mi Note is different to the newly released Mi 10

    • The naming convention is appalling as if you google Mi 10 Pro the Mi Note 10 comes up most of the time. The two phones are pretty similar. The Note 10 has a much weaker processor but the rest is fairly close.

  • It seems the non global version is called Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, there’s plenty of reviews of that.

  • How are Kogan's delivery lines going?
I bought a phone case from a seller at Amazon and it's been over 2 months of wait, and waiting to clear Sydney customs for 2 weeks…

  • What type of charger would this come with?
Specs from Xiaomi say it comes with a 30w fastcharger.
Kogan says… 1 x Australian/New Zealand compliant USB Power Adapter – this is the main power supply.
International Power Supply (For your convenience, this will be useful when travelling outside Australia

I assume , it’s just a cheap USB charger (Australian) and the original Xiaomi charger (US pins?)

I’d hope it’s a Xiaomi charger with Australian pins but I wonder.
