I have this phone and the GPS issue is very problematic. Like Murphy's Law - it always fails when I'm not sure how to get home.
Yep the gps is problematic.
I found the GPS problem is cause by turning on Wi-Fi calling. If you are not using a Vodafone SIM please turn this off.
I found when this is turned on the GPS locked onto a location on a suburb next to were l am.

not really a deal when there is not a single store in WA that has stock,
for anyone looking for a decent phone under $200 i found the realme 5i has a SD665,4GB ram,64GB on-board storage expandable via micro sd,5000Ma battery on 6.5" screen with a quad camera setup the negatives are its only 720p screen, still has micro usb for charging and has no NFC but other then that if you get over those things i still think its better value the the recently released realme C3 that is meant to be the budget device selling here.
realme offical store on aliexpress have it for $213.33 AU but there is a way to get a coupon applied to your aliexpress account if you change it to russian federation and follow random link i found that once applied to your account you can change it back to AU but you can still use the coupon code so brings it down to $188.01 AU - whichever cashback site you want to use.

Actually it is the A20 minus version. The revised working one is sold in more advanced markets. Nice screen though, good for games. Band 28 near deaf let alone GPS requires a compass to work.
Anyone know if and when this A20 might get update to Android 10?
According to https://www.androidauthority.com/android-10-update-1023882/ , it should come May 2020 for Samsung Galaxy A20… but with Android/carrier dependencies/etc… it's anyone's guess.

Been $169 plenty of times (that’s what I paid for mine), and I think a few coupons and stuff have brought it lower.
Still feels like a good deal at $179 tho.

Got it for 150 at target a while back and was lucky that the unlock was available on Vodafone site for free.
