  • With GMS certification, you can download various apps from the Google Play Store.

Does that mean it has full Australian access to Play Store (via an account), and you can download apps like I normally would on my phone? TIA

Yeah it does! What you really need is a magnetic usbc charger!

      • cheap to add, Ive bough several of these and even more of the small magnetic usb-c to toss on everything and everything and I keep needing more and more so go wild as I bet you dont buy enough! t.ly/clzIt

Kindle App available? What would this be like for reading with? Thanks

    • +1

Yes. I've the non-mini version of this and it's great for e,g. big sat nav, kindle, watching video. But don't expect speedy use.

  • hey which is better MediaTek Helio G99 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 version. its purely for watching 4k videos on the plane. but I find lower end tabs cant render 4k video and stutter.

also is the displays the same on both?

      • LOL

        Pros of MediaTek Helio G99
        Higher GPU frequency (~48%)

And then the Snapdragon comfortably beats it in GPU tasks …

    • Just tested a 4K file on my Iplay 50 Pro Mini (Hellio G99 too). It is unwatchable on VLC. The file lags and has glitchy artifacts. It was a 12mbps bitrate file. Also tried their built in video player. Blank screen.

      • Thank you!

Do you have to watch the videos in 4k? Its overkill on this table's screen resolution

  • I got the turbo delivered yesterday. This is my third Alldocube. I have a larger version with lte and another smaller one which I gifted to my mum (hence that’s why I bought the turbo). Lovely tablet, seems fairly fast for my usage

Just a fair warning to anyone thinking of Alldocube, the roms they use have the bare minimum work done to ship & there will never be a single update or bug fix. I have a Alldocube iPlay 50S I got as a GPS car tablet & its GPS takes up to 10 minutes to work every time the tablet wakes up. Makes it useless for planning drives.

    Never going with alldocube again.

    • I am with you there. My alldocube was a cheapie but became useless for just about anything. If I am buying a Chinese tablet I prefer the teclast. However, I am really happy with my 8" Telstra locked Orbic tablet that has gone on sale a few times at around $100 at Coles, Big W.
I use it with a wifi connection, so it being locked to Telstra concerns me not at all. Also works fine from my Optus mobile phone wifi hotspot. GPS takes only 3vor 4 seconds unless the tablet is. switched off.

  • How does this compare to the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 - 4GB MediaTek Helio G80, Octa-Core?

Is it decent for casual low or med settings gaming like Roblox, wild rift, Fortnite, cod mobile, zenless zone zero, genshin etc?

    • The Alldocube is far better for the specs. I'd skip this model and pay the extra $50 for the iPlay60 Mini Turbo model which has the Snapdragon 6Gen1 processor which is a lot faster than the Helio G99.

      • Cheers. I'll keep an eye out for a decent sale and cashback on the turbo model.

Did the 60 push down the 50 model in price when released? I see the 70 mini ultra is out in Japan on the 10th.

      • smaller battery though. and i found the one i just got (mini pro) tends to lose battery pretty quickly so i decided against returning it and getting the turbo. i did want to do that initially since i found the pro a bit sluggish but i can live with that more than a weaker battery which goes down faster due to the more powerful cpu.
