Damn, already used up all my negs. I blame the virus.
Here's one for you.
and another one.
Thanks plebs! :)
How is it Vitamin C snake oil when there are legitimate uses for it. Indications such as scurvy or for macular degeneration.
Scurvy may not be as relevant in Aus compared to developing countries but it is still around - https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2016/nov/29/scurv…
+ vitamin c is being used in various trials (sepsis, covid-19 etc)IV Vit C is what they should be using in sepsis. I don't think oral Vit C is effective enough. But it should help with the flu before onset.
how can a literal vitamin concentrate be a snake oil. it might not do something for most people but some people are vitamin deficient
Good price………was $4.90 for 100 tablets only a couple of days ago, so this deal works out cheaper. Although worth noting the directions say "Adults and children from 12 years: chew 2 tablets daily or as recommended by your healthcare professional". You could still just take one daily though.
or as recommended by your healthcare professional
My healthcare professional says most vitamins are a waste of money.
No need to use bold there
Are there any of the non-aspartame variety
Also red capsicums and kiwi fruits are a good source of vitamin C.
Too much fructose in those woolies ones.
Yes. These do not contain aspartame.
Instead the have sodium saccharin.None of the sweeteners are harmful at the very tiny concentrations found in pretty much all foods that have artificial sweeteners. Unless you believe in quack science.
What about for phenylketonurics?
Got one. Beats Chemist Warehouse price. Thanks OP.
What's up with cashrewards and shopback not offering cashback for amazon anymore. :(
stop buying chewable tablets if you want to have teeth left.
Suck them
How is that any better lol…The entire tablet dissolves and leaves traces on your teeth
is it not good for your teeth?
@edBARGAIN: If this is an honest question, why did you think it's good for your teeth?
No vitamin C is very acidic, chewables will cause a lot of acid wear of your teeth
What about just straight up swallow?
@[Deactivated]: that'll be fine but i heard it's hard to straight up swallow chewable tablets
@[Deactivated]: Damn.. I don’t know what to do now.
@[Deactivated]: Cut them up into little bits, then swallow with water.
@Trishool: That’s a good idea. Thank you.
I bought the other day and now it won't let me buy again.
It seems like you can buy it once per account, period.Probably have to wait until the item has been shipped first to reorder.
Yes possibly, although it has already shipped, just not received yet.
There could also be some specific time period (e.g. per month)
I just buy fruit and vegetables.
Careful, there was a lady coughing on fresh produce at Woolies last week intentionally because she is suicidal and wants the world to end. Buy a greenhouse and grow your own.
Is that stupid fake video everyone is sharing? The same one where she magically changes clothes?
No.
You also need to eat the fruit and vegetables. Buying them alone doesn't help.
They do if you need to take in a large amount of vitamin c quickly/on the go.
$0.50 cheaper than woolworths…
good luck finding stock in woolworths
Thanks Op. Got one
It was only $7 quite often.
Eat fruit/Veg and take a Vit D supplement if you are deficient. Winter is around the corner so ppl living in southern states will have reduced exposure to the sun.
I say this every time. Watch your teeth…
Vitamin C, D, Zinc, Magnesium.
And Viagra?
Just bought one from Coles for $14. Not bad.
My local woolies had plenty of these in stock for $14
$12.60 now !
Snake oil.
