I bought the 300 tablet for $14 last week on Amazon. It's still available.

My mother in law was asking me for some two days ago, so perfect timing as I was going to buy some during tomorrow's grocery run. Thanks OP!!

    • What are you going to spike them with?

      • -3

        Corona beer perhaps.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered

Is this stuff anti Corona? Asking for a friend.

    • Only if you stick the bottle in the mouth so the saliva doesn’t fly

    • I realise this might be facetious given your second sentence but there's no evidence that it helps with any virus, indeed from my understanding there's evidence it doesn't.

On the plus side Vit C tablets are tasty.

      • Actually there is some evidence, although I think it's not preventative

        https://metafact.io/factchecks/1211-does-vitamin-c-help-with…

        • Well that's contradictory to studies I've seen in the past, but I'm happy to label it "inconclusive".

      • Not true at all, and if you catch it early and megadose it can prevent things like the cold or flu from developing any further than being a vague sense of impending illness, which it has done for me with 100% reliability for the past 2 years. And it's cheap as (profanity) too in powder form.

"I did it and I didn't get sick" does not constitute scientific evidence, I'm afraid.

          • @mattythecapybara: The average internet commenter doesn't constitute a person capable of assessing a body of scientific evidence, I'm afraid.

The soft sciences are broken, btw, and only a fool would use the "evidence" they produce as the sole measure by which they make decisions about health (or anything else): https://i.imgur.com/JnujW2s.png

The 300 tablet without discount still works out cheaper.

    • Good timing as I was running out… but ended up getting the 300 tablets too.

Do they have Flintstones Chewable Morphine?

  • can't add to cart

    • +4

If you can't get the 100, grab the 300 pack while it's still available, works out a little cheaper.

      • thanks heaps just did that, cheers

  • No added: gluten, lactose, artificial flavours, artificial preservatives, dairy or animal derived products

    Yet it contains Sodium saccharin

Not saying that's bad for you, but the label is confusing

    maybe zinc does

Just relying on the urban legend, I suppose.

On the plus side, next time I'm on a boat, I won't get scurvy.

  • just 500mg so we need to eat 2 everytime?

You could also try supplementing your vitamin pill diet with some fruit or vegetables.

Have you been diagnosed (and I mean medically, by a qualified medical professional, not a witch doctor) with a specific vitamin deficiency?

If the answer is 'yes', then I am sure you have been given a prescription.

If the answer is 'no', then you do not need any supplemental vitamins.

  • Myprotein has vitamin C powder 500g. Super cheap depending on total basket price (45% off sale and free shipping if spend $150)

  • Looks like Amazon has stopped doing cashbacks sadly. Wonder why…

    • Why entice shoppers when everything sells out anyway?

  • Shortcut to sensitive teeth.

  • sugarless yes, but they replace it with Aspartame. not good.

    • Why is it not good?
      Any credible sources?

    • @jimdotpud

      Aspartame. not good.

Aspartame is one of the most highly-scrutinised food additives of all time. Thousands of professional scientific research studies.

If you have an ideology that aspartame is evil, then no amount of evidence to the contrary will ever sway you; a handful of dubious or discredited papers amongst thousands showing that it is safe.

Even a cursory search will show good information; for example, Wiki Article.

It is interesting how the early widespread negative publicity about things seldom goes away, despite mountains of later evidence. MSG. Aspartame. Autism/MMR. It's like humans little brains latch onto the first thing they perceive and then never vary.

Probably helps explain the adherence of many to ancient religious beliefs.

  • Got these this week. Kinda delicious.
