I would imagine they're really struggling without the chinese tourists here. Everytime I've been, chinese probably number more than 50% of the crowd.
This makes it $13.50 per adult instead of $27.

I would agree, the tourism industry on the gold coast is really suffering.
They are also offering annual passholders 50% off meals (normally 10%).
