Lol, what's happening with all these cruise deals after the virus criest.

    • Lack of customers means huge marketing and discounts to try to recover as nuch lost revenue as possible.

  • +5

everyone should hold on, let few rich people buy, then last minutes we may get massive discount (otherwise they will be sailing with just 20 people out of 500 capacity for example).

    • +1

These deals are super cheap. If they lower them much more they will seriousy damage their brand.

  • Target OZB, as we don't display paranoia? also we cant resist a bargain;)

  • never been on cruise before, can someone tell me what is an average day like on a cruise?

    • +3

Eat …eat some more, sleep …repeat

      • how is the food like, all you can eat buffet? beer and wine included?

        • +1

Food is usually superb, buffet / dining included and Cunard are rated as the best, drinks are normally on a package and extra. Have been on about a dozen cruises and also been on the Diamond Princess Japan 3 years ago and was fantastic … feel for them with the virus as it will be a long time before they recover.

        • Are there any other costs / expenses to be aware of?

  • They check to ensure that you have a suit and tie… there are no flip flop bogans on Cunard

    • +5

Bogans can wear suits. It's called race day. Interview day. Wedding day. Court date.

  • Anything ex Melbourne? Especially a shortish 5 day maybe for a family..?
