Free Babycino with Any Purchase @ McDonald's

1431

went to Mcdonalds for a coke no sugar and a babycino.
To my surprise the drive-thru person only asked for $1 and when i asked if they had my complete order, they informed me babycino (usually $0.95) is now free with any purchase.

so its just a regular freebie rather than a bargain per se, but its new and not advertised anywhere
confirmed thru the app at checkout

wonder if this qualifies for the buy 5 get one free…

    • I like your style of thinking but I dare say unless it's a glitch, it'd be a no :(

      • +2

        They used to!

        • +1

It hasn’t counted in a while (over 6 months)

    • +8

I used to get toasties for cheaper by adding one onto a babychino. Saved about a dollar.

We have certainly moved past the golden age of Mickey D app hacks. Vale

Combine three babycinos, add mini m&ms take it home, freeze it mush it up between finger and thumb and you have a mcflurry for seventy-five cents. Should be good for 1000 upvotes at least.

        • LOL

Just tried here and it didn't discount in the bag

    Also $1.25 here :/

    • Mine was 80c

      • +1

prices vary per restaurant, $1.10 at mine.

        Also doesn't work for me

similar note.. coffee purchases take forever to register for b5g1f in the app /rant

Speaking of glitches.. recently got an entire order for the cost of 1 splenda pkt. No idea what happened, showed them the order at drive thru, received emailed invoice for one splenda
Could be a deal if I find a way to replicate..

    • +2

Yeah it doesn't seem to register coffees very well. I've never bought a coffee from Macca's but the B5G1F still says I've bought 2

  • This is awesome!

    • Is that a sarcastic-level of enthusiasm!??

      • +1

No it's great! Free drink for the little one

        • Isn’t a babycino free in a lot of cafes?

          • +1

@Rimzi: Where did you get that from?

  • +6

The honey satchets are also free. Combine with the babycino for some extra flavour ;)

    • Time to visit the local Maccas!

  • +11

I would think a babycino could be a free purchase (or a neglible price, e.g. 10-20c) for any self-ordering adult with a child in toe.

I saw one for $2.50 at a cafe during the week. GTFO

    • +3

My local Gloria Jean’s always gives me 2 baby chinos for my kids with my coffee for not extra.
Went to a sports club cafe the other week, charged me $2.00 for each baby chino even though I brought a coffee

      • +15

No wonder the sports club cafe charged for the babycinos if you brought your own coffee there…

        • +1

          Ouch

        • Lol, sorry I meant bought.

    • +3

If this helps anyone, the coffee club does free babyccino with any purchase
      Details here

  • Which drink was for you?

  • +2

Should've been free with purchase from the get-go. Charging $1 for some frothed milk is highway robbery.

  • Works for me and even stacks with a maccas app reward - Nice find OP!

  • +1

Just tried it out and it says free on checkout. https://imgur.com/a/i1pjFfm

Be careful though, the one I ordered had coffee in it! A huge wtf moment for me when the little one took a sip.

    • +1

Don't worry, I got this. Just give the kid a Phenergan to counteract the caffeine. Trust me, I'm a doctor

    • +4

Maybe the 12 year old making it thinks a babycino is a xtra small size cappuccino?

      • That's what I think happened.

  • -3

did not work on my app

was charged full amount of babycino + my order

  • +1

Do you need a baby to order one?

    • +2

Have or be. No judgement here

  • +1

    70c at mine

  • +3

95c here, not free with any purchase.

  • Got the offer in the app with my closest McD
tried to add a extra tomato sauce($0) but not get the free offer
However, you can buy 1 babycino and get another free too
(as long as your cart is not $0, you can get 1 babycino free)

  • $1 for a tiny cup of plain frothy milk?

    • I think people like to gamble whether or not it will contain caffeine. For $1 it's a bargain for the rush.

    • It's free for me.

  • Has been this way for a year or more, but people need reminders I guess.

    • +1

Should have posted it as a deal and had it set to a long running deal.

  • But who would want a babycino? unless you used it as a way to add milk to an espresso.

    • +1

      Ummm, a baby?
My boy loves them, keeps him satisfied and feels like he's participating in coffee time. Is a nice addition to an order when going through the drive-thru.

      • I am presuming you like it. I guess it is a nice addition. Plus its supporting the farmers without spending a penny!
