It's time for a Jetstar Hawaii sale!

These dates are so far in advance, that most OTAs (online travel agents) can't even get some of the dates. Our data sources included!

However, Jetstar has them on sale from 17 January and 21 March 2021 (although from my playing with their website, it looks like the 9th of Feb onwards for Sydney). Also, only specific dates, but they do show up nicely if you pick a random date and search on the Jetstar site - they show the whole month with the cheap dates.

All the cheap flights are on Monday, Tuesday, Thurs and Saturday (at time of looking here).

A low cost carrier, so obviously just carry-on bags and yourself.

      yea, they do exist, but its in the slums of waikiki….. every1 wants water front, or near-water front so yea $500/night, thanks.

      try airbnb on the other back-end nowhere near water, and u got el-cheapo….

        you can drive around the entire island of Oahu in 40min, you dont need waterfront to go to the beach.

        we stayed in an air BnB in Kailua, it was fantastic. Away from the nightmare of Waikiki, close to heaps of beautiful beaches and hikes and heaps more space than a hotel room.

    I booked mine for the trip this May with Jetstar for about the same price, but they changed my direct flights to indirect ones, which will take more than one day for one way.
    So i had no choice but to cancel my trip.

      We had same issue with a trip to Japan via cairns, like you they had a 12 hour stop over, I rang them and they changed it to a 4 hour layover (less flights to cairns). Did you call them and request a later flight to Sydney say 2pm? Or did they tell you no flights available, which seems strange.

      Did they cancel it free of charge without a fuss? Did you get compensated?

    I flew Jetstar to Honolulu in December. They changed our departure date without telling us. They also cancelled our flight home with less than 24 hours notice. Thanks Shitstar.

    Never again.

      To be fair, all over the news during December the news was (not knowing your flight details) jetstar was on strike/could not negotiate a deal with pay. I informed my cousin who had a flight in early/mid January to Bali as they say above (Jerkstar) to confirm and inform jetstar their concerns and were bumped up to Qantas with full meals and baggage. Thats why I'd be interested why they didn't upgrade you or provide a partial or full refund.

        Thanks for your valuable input. We checked constantly throughout our trip. Even a day out, it said the flight was still on. As I said, the flight was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. There was NO information about a replacement apart from call Hawaiian Air.
        Hawaiian Air couldn’t tell us anything, as Jetshit hadn’t provided a “confirmation code”.

        Any “upgrades” with Hawaiian Air, like luggage allowance and meals were negated by the fact we paid extra for meals in advance, and extra for entertainment, and extra for increased luggage. Then to be on the later flight meant an extra meal in Hawaii we had to pay, an extra night in the cattery for our cat, and me feeling like shit at work the next day, as we were supposed to be landing 4 hours earlier.

        It was a shit show from start to (profanity) end with Jetturd. But at least they’ve got you supporting their incompetence.

    If anyone is considering going to mainland USA, check out Southwest Airlines. Usually very cheap and normally include checked bags.

    They are slowly rolling out flights for their new service this year

    Guess Scotty from Marketing will be all over this one.

    No major disasters are predicted for Jan - Mar 2021 so he'll be good to go. We know there will be an Aussie/Hawaii government function he has to attend so the cost will be within parlimentary expenditure guidelines.

    Barnaby can take over the reins as he'll be deputy dawg by then. How good is that?
