SS is banking on the postage to make profit from Ebay plus members where Ebay pays postage not the plus member.

      • I see…. So we need to support the shop by becoming eBay plus…. I like SS. A good blokes running this store.

    • Someone not a eBay plus member yet? That's…. Strange…

  • Bought 3 with eBay plus, cheers

    • Thanks, got these, different seller but appears to be a business of shopping square as the email came from them. Strangely paypal says I paid to Zapals !! Not sure if there is affiliation between shopping square and Zapals as I never had good experience with Zapals

    • Thanks for the suggestion.

Does everyone realise you can mix and match 3 items?

    • And what price we need to pay? The most expensive item?

      • yes

  • Anyone has the performence data for the 64GB?

      • Thanks but that userbenchmark website is far from accurate and its testing program sucks a lot, don't have the choice to select what to test but only to test all, and after running its testing program, no reports are given, only the data been submitted to them. kind of scam

    • Someone posted results of a benchmark here:

      • Thanks but that's for the 16GB posted under 64GB (yes that's Amazon's mistake).

And for flash storage, different capacity has very different performance.

Anyway, the 64GB one is sold out now

  • PLEASE add 3 to Cart before you check out or you will only get 1 unti instead of 3.

Now just be aware with this issue:

I got 9 of those 32GB Sandisk Ultra from shopping square's recent 3 for 1 deals,

Up on benchmark testing 4 out of the 9 units , (crystal disk mark 7 or TxBench)

All of the 4 drives became write protected right after just one testing.
They are still write protected on other USB ports or other computers.

And ,for some reason, Australia is not supported in Sandisk's replcement cover, at least their online replacement form doesn't include Australia).

I wonder what's the problem with shopping square's units, and what's the reason Sandisk doesn't cover Australia .

A simple benchmark testing would not put a usb drive into write protected mode.
USB drive became write protected because itself found there's serious problem , to prevent data loss, it put itself into write protected mode.

No, there's no button or switch to enable or disable the write protected mode on the usb drive.
And since it's chip and chip controller is unknow, currently there's no factory tool to re-provision the drive.

    • so why wasn't this reported to ACCC and have this stick banned from Australian market?

      • It's not that easy.
If you look at eBay and Amazon, they are full of fake MicroSD cards like $10 for 256GB, $25 for 512GB and $50 for 1TB

  • Added 3 to cart but price stays at $45. Is deal expired?

    • Yep, the BUY 1 GET 2 FREE (add 3 to cart) promo above the main picture is gone.
(they may repeat the deal in future?)

  • Anyone received this product tested it with CrystalDiskMark or TxBench?

For SanDisk 32GB CZ48 Ultra Flash Drive

    • Yeah got write protected.

Sandisk said those are geniune flash drive by the photos.

After I provided the problem details and asked them to verify if this is a design bug, they replied:

        Dear XXX,

Thank you for contacting SanDisk® Global Customer Care. Please allow me to inform you that as per pictures provided by you, these flash drives are authentic drive. Please be informed that write protection errors occur when a flash drive detects a potential fault within itself. The drive will go into write-protected mode to prevent data loss. There is no method to fix this. However I have already shared your feedback with our product development team. We would love to hear from you in future and have reviews from you so that we can make the quality of our products better as per user experience.
