Best price according to CamelCamelCamel, and also the lowest price around for this USB.
Not sure if this is a 'good' deal, but as I bought one myself, I am sharing it here.

depends on usecase, too small easy to lose and not enough surface to put a label on it
I have had a couple of the fit ones and won't buy them again. In my experience they overheat when doing anything more than transferring small documents
The SanDisk Ultra Fit has overheating issues. I have the 32GB version. Its performance largely depends on the intended use. Personally, I do not recommend using it to play music in the car for extended periods.
Would warn against these. They turn into little hot rocks and theres nowhere to pull them out. Its just not as usable as a standard usb
no it's not, it's $1 more expensive!
Also got one last time with perks for $1.
are these reliable?
This is really anecdotal but I've had 4 sandisk usbs around my home office for probably 5-7 years now using them as OS install drives and occasional file transfer and I haven't had an issue. I'm not a heavy user at all but I've never had a problem
OK i m bad luck then, my Sandisk Ultra Curve been using just after 3 months will crash error whenever after writing anything over 2 minutes, I can't even copy files out, same issue and will crash too, the stick itself tends to be very hot.
The retractable mechanism is very unreliable, I have several from SanDisk "failed" over time.
They wouldn't stay protruded to plug in or not detected after plug in.
The memory chips were good, the shells were crap.
USB-A is proven and very robust, it doesn't need protection by retracting. It's a gimmick.
I've had these for years and they're still working fine, just be warned they are slow AF
Slow is relative, someone wanted me to copy something for them and bought an Emtec USB drive at Woolworths, 7 hours of copying later it fails, I format it, still fails.
All the reviews say same thing, they come corrupt and unusable slow, was gonna smash it and buy him a real one.
The listing says 1.2 GB file in 40 sec. That's 30 MB/s. Isn't that pretty decent for a flash drive?
Not sure if it's just me, but mine disconnects if I try to transfer a file for longer than around 30s at full speed.

Importance of USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0 Specifications for USB Flash Drives: Please Ensure These Specs Are in the Title
I was just about to say the same, but also "Gen 1 or Gen 2?"
Perfect for me, under $10. I seem to have a strange thing that I forget I have USB sticks in my pocket until they come out of the dryer.
Fortunately they still work afterwards but some seem to get lost still.
There's my random midnight thought.
-1
I got a couple of these when umart had them for like $5 about a year ago, and like someone said earlier they are abit slow, but they are very reliable, dropped and stepped on mine a bunch of times from being clumsy, and they still work fine.
I have these ones Patriot Supersonic Rage Lite USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive - 128GB 5 Pack for about $50.
Been using these as my Boot drives for several months now and hasn't failed me yet.
There's also 64GB 5 pack version for around $33.
Hmm with the cost of shipping it's probably cheaper to buy on eBay (but not by much). These are going for around $15.95 on eBay.
Wot. $9 sounds cheaper to me.
Even price beat (off) at JB or OW if you aren't paying for prime.
$9 + $8 shipping is not cheaper than $15.95 with free shipping.
it's free shipping - who doesn't have prime and hangs out on Ozbargain??
Anyway MATE just price match or pick a usb stick from anywhere, they aren't expensive these days.
I think this is a better option
