Seems to be a good deal, half price. Maybe good for the summer?

  Doesn’t work anywhere near as well as Aeroguard Tropical strength.

    this is 20% picaridin, Aeroguard is old-fashioned DEET.

    Both work and are safe, but DEET is smelly and damages plastics.

      PS: isn't Aerogard rollon plastic anyway? no damage seen ime

    Picaridin and DEET at these concentrations are pretty much equivalent in repellent effect for the insects most Australian travellers want to avoid. Repelling ticks is a more complicated area (good to read US CDC advice on effective repellents).

    In either case, the liquid has to be applied well. Sprays are easy to use, but require generous/thorough application.

  Found when camping at Fraser Island that this was the best deterrent by far for the March flies. Still not 100% effective but much better than everything else we had with us which was basically every higher concentration spray on the market.

    I used this on Fraser this year as well, it is very effective apart from horse flies, it did pretty much covered all other insects.

    nope, i used once & didnt work at all. so many mosquito bites. Second time I used a lot. COuldnt sleep because of the smell. still had a few mosy bites.
