20% off JR Passes would be legendary, but I'm not hopeful they'll be included…

    • That would be amazing + cashback on top

      • Looks like they're included after all!

I seem to remember previously there was some advice about paying Klook in a certain currency or using (or not using) PayPal etc… Can't remember the exact details and can't find the post I'm thinking of. Can anyone help? I'd normally assume it'd be best to pay in the local currency (e.g. yen) and use a credit card with no international transaction charges.

  • In some past Klook deals, there has also been a substantial cashback offer at the same time. Check your cashback sites before you purchase.

  • what about USA?

    • There are still 15 locations to reveal. Will know in next few days.

  • Come on Korea!!!

    • I'm sure Seoul will be there.

    • Seoul has been confirmed to be part of the sale.

  • 1st time Klook user, I have booked and paid for quite a few activities for Jan. Is it possible to cancel and re-book?
If yes, is it an easy and straightforward process to get refund?

    • Each activity is different. You need to check the T&C’s from each deal.

  • Anyone know how long Klook take to send out your tickets/orders?
For example, if a JR was in fact included in the deal, would it be shipped to metro QLD by 3rd of Jan?

    • It took less than a week for them to ship to Metro Sydney for me, but that was in November. I'm not sure it would be as quick so close to Christmas. It was delivered by Toll if that's relevant.

    • You should be fine. I ordered morning of 29th November and they arrived the afternoon 1st December. Sent via FedEx express to Brisbane.

I did select the travel date as the earliest available which may have led to them choosing to ship it so fast (this isn't the activation date, you choose that when you redeem it).

    • Some of the JR pass exchange orders are emailed if that helps (I got my 5 day Niigata/Nagano one emailed)

  • Is there restriction on the travel dates?

  • still no USA?

  • Looks like maximum discount $50

  • "Doesn't look like there's any limit on number of redemptions"

Terms say the code is valid for one time use per customer.

Unfortunately capping at $50 doesn’t do much good to jr passes :(

  • T&Cs:
    - 20% off travel activities (capped at $50 AUD discount)
    - The promotion code “20BOX20" does not apply to activities in the Special Activities category.
    - The promotion code is valid for one time use per customer only.

  • How far in advance can I buy a JR Rail pass? I plan to travel in June.

    • 6 months through Klook but best confirm again with them.

  • Guys I would seriously not recommend Klook. I've been ghosted by them after purchasing SIM cards that do not work.

  • $9.24 with code less 7% cashback is $8.59 for Bali airport transfer

  • Tried buying Express passes for Universal Japan, but all the dates past Feb 27 are greyed out. Anyone know why?

    • +1

Tickets probably only open up 2 months before.

  • +2

Not good enough when it's capped at $50
For example 7 days JR passes $387
turns out to be $13% only +3% cb from sb

    worse than 10% + 10% on 6 Dec

  • Hey guys, can we use shopback with the promo code?

    • yes.

      • Thanks mate

        • No worries. I purchased the JR pass and shopback detected my transaction a few hours later.

  • Klook seemed to have charged an international transaction fee because I paid in AUD.

If I had known I would have paid using my Citibank transaction card linked thru PayPal.

13c I will never see again.

Perhaps it is in their t&c.
