ive bought the tommy hilifger tee from them before. Im 90% sure theyre fake/replica.
pretty sure its the same as the ones from catch..

    • +1

So i’m not crazy…got ones from Catch last year and no way were they the same as the ones i got in store. Different size and cut!

    • +1

Would they be allowed to sell replicas/fakes ?

    • -1

And the adidas ones I bought are either fake or horrendous quality

    • +1

I think they may be from the US or some sort of an outlet store, technically genuine but not what you expect I guess

      • Could possibly be… but I have over 8 Tommy Hilfiger/jeans tees that I’ve bought from the official Tommy store and they all have the triangle thing at the back under the collar whereas the one from Kogan doesn’t.
The triangle thing is in all of their tees and polos listed on their website and in other stores e.g Myers, David jones, ASOS

Catch and Kogan don’t have the triangle thing 😬

  • Price doubled now?

Folks, I Think the op the op has totally undersold this bargain.

    Its 60% off EVERYTHING here - https://www.kogan.com/au/c/60-big-brand-fashion/?order_by=pr…
There is heaps of shoes and some apparel

I just picked up 3 pairs of Nikes for $94!!! (select 'Kogan First' trial for free shipping, just make sure you cancel it in 14 days).

    Total bargain!

    • How did I undersell it…that's what the deal links to?

      • +2

What I’m saying is that there are many bargains here.
You can exactly go to Nike or any other store today and pick up a pair for $22.
Sheesh we’ve become so negative on OzB these days ;-/

        • You can exactly go to Nike or any other store today and pick up a pair for $22.

          can't*

The Nike deal was already posted on its own so I can't have it in the title as it'll be dupe.

I've linked to all products with 60% off and noted down some deals which I thought were really good (excluding whats already been posted, so I referenced them).

Don't know how my reply to your comment is negative, but if there are any more deals I dont have in the title, feel free to post your own deal buddy.

          • @CodeXD: I rest my case.. never mind buddy

  • Great deal. Bought some New Balance 574 shoes. Plenty of sizes available. Top quality and comfortable shoes especially for the price. I saw the same shoes in Osaka for AU$130+ in April this year.

  • All these big brands have quality measures In some countries where they throw the best possible quality to compete and then there is the rest.

  • 4 Tommy Hilfiger tees for $44 pretty decent

  • Thank you. I bought three shoes for less than what one would cost me in a store!

    :)

    • +5

But that's an odd number of shoes…

      • +1

Gotta cater for the tripods 😜

      • Lol.

  • OMG … my whole family gets now shoes for Christmas :-) Thanks Op … great deal!

  • Thanks OP, bought 2 shirts and this shoe. The shoe comes down to $51 :)

  • Received the Tommy t-shirts in the mail today, very poor quality and weird sizing. I have the same size S which was bought from Myer and its smaller compared to the Kogan size S………..

  • Ordered 3 items + shoes… shoes wasn't included in the parcel when it said it was delivered. :( Sent a enquiry to Kogan.

    • FFFF- same with my order 😭

EDIT: my consignment note says: "parcel 1 of 2" so there will be 2 of 2 later

      • where's your consignment note from>?

        • It's on the package

          • @CodeXD: Okay I have parcel 2 of 2… maybe i'm missing the first one. I sent a note to Kogan anyway to see if there's 2 parcels.

            • +1

@tlai: I received parcel 2 of 2 today with the shoes and a few other shirts.

              • @CodeXD: Received my 2nd parcel as well

    • This happened to me as well. I got the rest of my order the next day.

  • Got my 'nike' shoes today… not 100% sure they are real.. they seem to be made with thin material and quite flimsy.. although the box seems quite legit.
Can't complain for $34 odd i suppose - mind you I ordered 3 different types they all looks the exact same.

    • I am in the same boat with my 'onitsuka' shoes. The materials, build and overall quality is quite bad but like you said everything else seems quite legit… Not quite sure what to think of them.

      • +1

        Lets go with…. lesson learnt!

  • +1

Got the Tommy Hilfiger shirts in and the sizing is way off compared to their size chart. The material does not feel the same as other TM shirts I have. I don't believe that they are genuine.

    • bigger or smaller than standard?

      • Bigger. The site indicates that the chest for a large would be 104-108. It is actually closer to 112cm. The site mentions that the waist is 94cm when its actually 116cm. These shirts are fakes. Do not buy

        • I wanted to return it as it way too big and they wont admit its fake. They wont cover return postage and I have to pay around $13, bought 3 for $33 and they will give me store credit. It is worth it? Bunch of Frauds

          • +1

@doctorwatson: Did you pay with PayPal?
You can take advantage of up to $45 refund on postage costs to return the item, up to 8 times per year.
            https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/returns

I've done this a few times when I've been unsure about size, look etc - when online stores don't offer free returns and make you pay the return.
You just have to make sure you take a picture of the actual parcel with the address label/postage cost along with the receipt then upload it to claim the money back.

            • @ezza: Thats the mistake I made, didnt pay by paypal

              • @doctorwatson: Have you checked the measurements of your shirts against their supplied size chart? If your shirt is a different measurement you could argue that you have been sent an item that is not as described - which could be classed as faulty.

              • @doctorwatson: Uhhh.. start paying with PayPal for everything!!

    • +1

      Shipping is not free…

    • Also S already sold out, although good deal for those with Kogan First

    • Bought a few and they run quite large. Usually I wear medium but these feel like L

    • +3

This t-shirt quality is so poor and you can't even return it.

      • Thanks for a heads up.

    • +5

Thanks to the above comments I've decided against a half-pissed impulse buy

    • Beware these are either fake or come out of a factory with appauling quality standards

Please refer to previous deals for these kogan apparel deals and don't make the mistake of buying them

Also kogan customer service will deny they are fake and refuse to refund you

    • This is definitely not a must have in any wardrobe. Maybe ok for yard work or something.

    • Dupe, price has been $11 since previous deal 60% off sale

Not sure why this has boxing day tag as kogan boxing day sale is 20% off selected items
      https://www.kogan.com/au/c/20-handpicked-boxing-day-bargains…

I had a look through their handpicked items and looks to be ordinary junk that was already on sale…

      • the sex kettle will be its cheapest price yet but

      Has the last one expired?

    • +1

I brought the marathon runners to get as far away and as quickly as possible from the Kogan Hyundai air-conditioner deal.

    • Nope I just purchased 7 pairs for $238 for my whole family.

    • Link?

      • -1

Apparently the ASICS were fake from the last deal.

    • Negging this deal to warn potential buyers

As usual the warning I post for apparel sold by kogan

Check previous deals as comments suggest these are either fake or very poor quality.

I myself bought 4 adidas T-shirts which appear to be fake.

Kogan also refuse to refund the amount and if they do, force you to pay return shipping

You also can't do a chargeback as the credit card provider will ask you to provide written proof from a reliable source that they are fake which is literally impossible

      You have been warned

      • +1

I don’t understand why it’s impossible to get proof it’s fake.

I remember reading the issues Nike has with fakes on amazon and Ali etc, they are very interested in weeding out fake products from marketplaces. Have you tried to contact adidas about your fake tees?

        • -1

I did. Apparently they are sourced from overseas and adidas will not get involved.

          • @easternculture: Adidas should be interested in stopping fakes. When I was a kid in the market, the clothes store, selling all fakes, regularly had their Nike’s and adidas stuff confiscated, they are the most popular stuff to fake and sell. They constantly attack fakes to protect their brand.

Adidas won’t get involved says to me they know that Kogan and cotd etc are receiving sub wholesale stock.

    • +3

I have bought sneakers from them before and they are exeptional quality. No fakes.

      • -4

Read towards the end here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/505695

Apparently fake Asics conformed from company

        Also poor quality TH shirts

        • +1

Reading that post, Asics confirmed they don't supply Kogan, not that they are fakes.
They just source the shoes from overseas.

Got 3 pairs of running shoes all of which are fine.

I bought the Hilfiger t-shirts, impressed with the quality and sizing is good.

          • @gooddealmate: Also, from ASIC reply, it seems to confirm they have authentic A grade and implies authentic other grades too.

I don’t work in apparel, would love to hear if there such a thing as Authentic B grade stuff from anyone who might know.

    • I’m wearing my Nike tees from a ozbargain post from Kogan deal, very good quality, Better than amazon Nike tee I bought recently.

      • -2

I'm not saying everything is fake, and also not making this up.

Read previous deal comments and you will find that many people are getting poor quality or fakes delivered. YMMV

Alternatively I could just not warn anyone and wait for the forum post "Kogan sold me fakes and refusing to refund, what to do next"

    • +2

The Tommy Hilfiger tshirts are massive. I'm usually M and I had to buy S. Good for my self esteem I guess

    • Bought Nike shoes from the last sale, well made and seemed genuine. Checked them against several How to Spot Fake Nike sites, and they seemed to tick all the boxes.

    • +1

bought my wife nikes from the last deal. definitely don't look 100% authentic. you can see the glue all around it.
the swoosh looks like it may peel off after a few wears.

  • How do you sign up for 14 day free trial?

  • I've bought 10 Tommy Hilfiger Crew Neck T-shirts from Kogan Boxing Day Sale.

The Chest Size is the same as the other Tommy Hilfiger T-shirts, I've bought from Outlets in the US. The length is about 6 centimetres longer. I'm wearing size L. So, the Kogan size L still fit me perfectly.

The material feel a little bit thin. I will shrink and feel thicker after a wash(I've already washed and tumble dried my 10 brand new T-shirts. No guessing here).

Kogan and CATCH's Tommy Hilfiger T-shirts are made in Bangladesh(perhaps they are Grey Import). The quality may be different from Official Import(made in China/Vietnam).

For $11 per T-shirt, I cannot complain on the quality of these Tommy Hilfiger T-shirts.
