Free $10 Red Rooster Voucher (No Min Spend) by Signing up to Red Royalty via App

First post, let me know what can be improved. Signed up to Red Royalty via the app today to try to snag the free fries (didn't work), but got a $10 credit applied instead. That's $5 more compared to the long-running deal.

App links: Apple Android

Requires email + name + phone number. You get sent a confirmation link via SMS, voucher is automatically added (there's no notification, press scan card in app to see it).

Terms and conditions are linked. Doesn't have a min spend (confirmed at local store), expires in 3 weeks. Important snippets below:

3 The promotion opens on 26/11/19 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 19/12/19 or once 20,000 of the $10 Gifts have been issued, whichever is first (“Promotional Period”).
4 To be eligible to receive the $10 Gift, individuals must complete the below steps during the Promotional Period (“Eligible Member”):
• Download the Red Rooster Application (‘App’) for compatible smart phones and devices for the first time;
• Join the Red Royalty Program via the app and follow the prompts to complete registration and become a verified member for the first time.
6 The $10 Gift must be used within three (3) weeks of the date of issue and at the expiry of that period, all unused dollars will automatically expire.
9 All eligible members that receive the $10 Gift during the promotional period will be excluded from the standard 5 Red Royalty Dollar Welcome Voucher.

      Agreed! Had a very cheap meal for 5- whole chicken and family chips is $15 at my local RR, $1 extra for small gravy. So I’m $6 in to a meal for 5 after voucher (we add veggies at home). They gave us the wrong size chips so I called to let them know (and chicken was a bit cold vs usual) not expecting anything.

      Response was agreeing they stuffed up and a free whole chicken and family chips next time we are in. Double winning and well done RR!

    is it just for delivery? I can't see where to choose a pickup option on the app

      Click on red royalty button and will show qr code which you scan in store to get $10 off

        Your $10 gift is now in your account ready to be redeemed via the app in your next delivery order.

        So i hope you are right

        edit: nvm later on it says you can scan in store, phew!

    Never fancied chicken from these guys, especially in Sydney when you have El Jannah and Frangos… and Charlie's.

      It depends on what you're getting - their rooster and rippa rolls are excellent, as is their cheesy nuggets and chips.

      The chicken is also good, but varies in quality.

    Use the 25JZAS code and you get a whole roast chicken, 10 buttermilk chicken wings, family chips, and 4 sauces delivered for $15.45.

        The delivery minimum is $25. Add two more sauces and it'll deliver it for $15.45 total.

        • This is awesome thanks! Felt bad though and added a gravy instead. My local RR could rival the livelihood of a cemetery. A great deal anyway.

  • For those who are wondering about the Free Chips, log in to your Red Royalty account from website (not App), and click on Offers symbol next to your name. The current ongoing offer is Free Large Chips in-store, valid till 17-Dec-2019. No purchase necessary. Check if it is in your account and let me know here.

      The franchise pays the $10 to the store so the owner of the red rooter still gets paid the $10. The staff don't care and I guarantee they have informed their friends to come in and do it.

  • Thank you. At the moment my family and I have been enjoying red rooster I bought yesterday. Buy 1 get 1 free whole chickens special on the 9th day of Christmas plus a bread roll which is only costing me $ 17.

    GG red rooster, maybe don't bill a card until you actually can COMPLETE the order.

  • Can't log into app after signing up. I received text, verified email for $10, bit when I try to log into the app I get an HTP 439 error.

    Couldn't login initially, kept getting the HTTP429 error. Tried reinstalling the app, switching off wifi, etc., then uninstalled. Tried it all again an hour or so later and it worked! Thanks OP

          I redeemed $10 of red royalty this evening and I just checked the app now and it says I still have $10.85 in red royalty. Assume the $0.85 was what I earned with this evening's order but it hasn't removed the original $10

    how the heck can that have happened. argh

    • It might just be a bug (since the other guy above you had the same problem). But if it's a new SIM then there's a chance it's a recycled SIM number, in which case you'll need to contact them. This has (apparently) happened with one of my many Kogan SIMs (assuming the SMS spammers weren't lying or a fake number wasn't given to begin with).
