Good deal if you have to fly BA.

Test booking out in Oct returning Nov
    BA - $2400
    Air France $2100
    Singapore $2050

    Cheapest
    Air China $1600

I reckon Air France and Singapore are decent full service airlines comparative to BA.

Many would say Singapore is better these days.

  • A bigger % discount is on the business class fares, I looked at september to London

    Economy - $2700 - with discount $1700
    Business - $8000 - with discount $3500 (spend $500 for $5000 off)

    • "One voucher can be used per person per return flight" (Not 5 per return flight)
      Should that be reading -
      Economy - $2700 - with discount $2450
      Business - $8000 - with discount $7000

  • i'm wondering how many ozbargainers travel business class :)

    • I was very much considering it when Qatar had the return flights to Brussels. Business was about $2700 from memory. Economy was $793. Needless to say that the three of us were able to travel economy for less than the cost of one business class. After walking through business to board the plane, next time I might be tempted. Think it can be well worth it for the long haul flights.

      • i visit Europe every year, i've travelled once in business class(upgraded from economy using my singapore airlines miles).
if business class ticket was 2700 i wouldn't think twice(that's the price i paid last year travelling economy). but paying 3500(not to mention 8500 normal price) for a flight is way too much for me. I would prefer to travel economy and spend the rest on a 7 star hotel as soon as i land overseas :)

IMHO this deal is not a bargain(at least for economy class)
