This has an aluminium frame, whilst the Fortis is a steel frame, so this will be lighter.
Ok. Had a look, and the EuroMini shows as 12.7kg vs. Fortis at 14.5kg.
To be honest, rather than rushing in to buy this online I would be checking out a few options in a physical store to understand what to look out for, and then decide.
That is 14.5kg, this nearly 13kg.
So not a huge difference for the price. They both look acceptable quality.

The reviews for Euromini looks much better than Fortis. The ones who have bought it know it better. From the price, they look like different level products.

$500 will get you a decent bicycle, or an electric scooter, but not a decent electric bike.
I think it was limited quantity, so too late now anyway.
bought one, since it is light the strength is limited absolutely unsuitable over 100kg. I extra slimmed down to 87 and would not wanna be heavier on such a thin wall bike. Assembles in a flash, but needs air so they forced me to buy a pump so I could ride it home.
There is definitely much resistance riding with a flat battery compared to a non powered bike. The ingnition switch is flimsy.
Turn handle does little than extreme soft start but once one takes off on pedals it kicks in just one level to either do just over 20 km/h or nothing.
Nice light with a led on back even a chirpy horn. Still takes me much much further and is heaps of fun. The battery indicator on top of battery does not work and the handle has just 3 led's , nut much of details of charge left.
Compared to similar stuff on ebay where one gets 14" wheels I reckon 20" is the absolute minimum to worry about potholes and curbs.
Stupid question, how does this compare to an entry level Brompton?
dunno Brompton but the Leitner ones I see on the road are like a rolls royce compared to a volkswagen
