Chippendale’s Ethical Christmas Market is an opportunity to step away from the consumerism of traditional Christmas shopping.

The 17 hand-picked local businesses that will be there on the day span art, fashion, plants, homewares, food and music. The first 100 visitors will receive a free vegan hamper – a thank you to sustainable shoppers from the festival’s founders.

    I think what they mean is supporting local community rather than big enterprise consumerism.
