those prices are 35% off & end the 24th, this deal is 30% off & starts the 27th, will still be cheaper note 10 should come in around $899, note 10+ $1039 etc..

@ChickenDinner123: Could always do a hedge, buy the phone now and redeem the buds, then try to sell it off on marketplace. If this doesn't result in a lower price, then just do a return and buy using this deal

But jb deal includes ear buds? So you could sell them and be better off

Would it be worth it to get Samsung Care for $250 which allows you to swap device twice in 2 years? They take $150 swap fees each time?
I guess it's only worth it if you don't use phone cases.
A good case protects your phone pretty well. The one that came with Note 9 is ok, but I dont think that case protects from drops higher than 1m.
Put it into real terms to get a better idea about your actual world costs.
Your actual real world minimum cost is $400 to swap once. So, are you likely to not be able to sell your device (I’m assuming this is for a mobile phone) for more than $400 after-market? Is it worth checking out Gumtree, or Facebook Marketplace, and taking the cheapest example of a phone that people are selling that is say a year or two old, then take off 10%, and if that is then less than $400 it might be worth it (we can’t see the future so this way you’re gauging what people are likely to pay for a second hand device).
If this Samsung care only applies to swapping phones, and offers no other benefits I guess you need to weigh up it’s real world value.
Pricing wise Samsung Care for A series devices is $159, the flagship models fall under $259. Swap fees are $129 not $150
I was wondering this and then saw in the terms and conditions that the replacement devices are refurbished models not brand new. I think that's pretty dodgy as I had to dig pretty deep to find this out…

With Samsung care you can swap the phone twice in 2 years for $129 but you only get a refurbished model Eg. Galaxy note 12 refurbished

The deals say up to 30% on Samsung product, not the phones in general. They might lower the discount rates for smartphones. Just a hunch though.

From my read of the message it sounds like they're saying $150 off EPP prices (which are up to 30% off RRP).
If that's the case the current sale will be the better deal.

the last Samsung EPP I put a request in for galaxy buds redemption which was during October 23, I just received a confirmation the item is on its way with AUs post tracking.

EPP still showing 15% off only for Galaxy and Note products. No mention of Black Friday or 30% off and additional $150 off. Either this hasn't started, is only for specific EPP corporations, or isn't a thing…..
Education Store is showing a Black Friday banner with 30% off Galaxy and Note instead of usual 20% off.

I just had a friend on the Westpac EPP log in and add a note 10+ to the cart. It gave the black friday discount of $150 off but no percentage. So not a great deal. It is also not showing up in in the Australian Government EPP at all. Think I will go with the education portal.
Yep, EPP deal is rubbish at the moment. Better off going with the education portal if you want it now.
I would just advise to sit on it. It's been cheaper than this going all the way back to July.

I got it. It was listed as 1199.20 on EPP portal from my company. But 150$ was not being added. Spoke to Samsung sales and explained what org I am with. They applied it to my account and then when I tried again, I was able to get it for 1049.20. Not super exciting - but not too shabby either. Needed one quickly and I was tired of waiting for deals thinking a better will come. Just missed out on the galaxy buds promotion - so all sealed finally.
